Todays Earthquakes Could Be Telling Us East Coast or California Might Have Major Earthquake Heading For Them!!!

All combined the earthquakes we're looking at in todays EQ Blog could all be telling us something! Could be telling us the East Coast or California might be looking at a big earthquake! Let's start out todays EQ Blog with a big one that shook PNG and is certainly a lot more shaking than just the earth turning!!!

6.3 - 68km WNW of Namatanai, Papua New Guinea, Time: 2016-06-21 12:12pm Central Time

And when I just now went to cut and paste the USGS on this next one. . . IT DISAPPEARED!!! Naturally I figured out right away that it was because I was on the 24 hour list and it must have struck yesterday at about the same time as I was going back to zoom-in!!! So here's that info that I didn't have time for in Wednesdays EQ Blog:

6.1 - Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge

Depth=10.0 km (6.2 mi)

Time
2016-06-21 11:26am Central Time

Nearby Places
1126 Miles ENE of Grande Anse, Guadeloupe
1140 Miles ENE of Saint-Francois, Guadeloupe
1142 Miles ENE of Le Moule, Guadeloupe
1147 Miles ENE of Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe
1151 Miles ENE of Saint John's, Antigua and Barbuda

If you missed this story, my producer in the studio on "Earthquake Minute" was IN that big 5.2 Southern California Earthquake last week!!! And in this weeks "Earthquake Minute" he tells all about it!!! In addition to the big one in the Mid-Atlantic, I found these two that look like they might have struck only about a minute apart out there around Iceland. And when combined with that 6.1 Mid-Atlantic they could mean more to come and our East Coast isn't too far away there:

4.5 Reykjanes Ridge 2016-06-22 20:52:24 UTC-05:00 10.0 km
4.8 Reykjanes Ridge 2016-06-22 20:48:51 UTC-05:00 10.0 km

And that could all be a lot of the energy of 45mph Tropical Storm Danielle but I so rarely track windstorms in that range that I could only guess what the biggest possible earthquake imaginable might be there! Just in case it could be a big one, we should watch East Coast and the line of potential earthquake energy from that landfall did point up towards Southern California so it's anybodies guess how big this one could become before it's all over! There's a lot of my very best earthquake stuff in My E-Book, "Bringing Earthquakes To Life" @ http://www.eqalert2.blogspot.com Thank-You For Reading!!! EQ Guy
