NOW Tuesdays EQ Blog:  5.3 Richters Earthquake at Anchorage with the epicenter at Point Mackenzie perhaps 9 miles north of Downtown Anchorage with 3700 Felt Reports including Fairbanks, and being called an "Aftershock" of the 7.1 earthquake of November 2018, there, and might say apparently about the same epicenter although I'm not a seismologist and status of aftershocks not even in my field of study:/  One report said small amounts of damage occurred and i do want to suggest BIG one may still be on the way for that region of Alaska!  So, while experts call it an aftershock, let's you and me wait and see if it doesn't turn out to also be a "Foreshock" for big one yet to come there with today at Day 55 or actual DAY number of the 7.8 Ecuador Earthquake!!!!!  

Now moving on to other earthquake news: Now two have struck at this shaky Los Angeles Region of California along with that 3.0 Rancho Cucamonga which will take me another day to get the felt report on, THIS one shook Simi Valley on Saturday, too!!!!! And with the full moon high over head, too:

It would appear the epicenter of this earthquake must have been somewhere along the coast to the south of Big Sur as the list of nearby places shows, yet north of San Simeon!   And with this amount of shaking also can't be far from where the highway there was closed due to landlide not long ago, too!  Here's the USGS Report:

4.8 Richters Struck Falkland Islands over this weekend, on the exact line we've been watching and just in on Monday another 4.8 at Nearby Puerto Chacabuco, Chile just a few miles west of the Falklands.   Then a 3.0 Rancho Cucamonga, California with currently upwards of 600 Felt Reports all the way to Santa Barbara!  THAT was basically about all the Full Moon Window and we will now need to continue watching because all this. . . tells me there's plenty more to come as February ends and is marked by Day 55!!!!!  Day number on which the big 7.8 Ecuador Earthquake Struck!!!
