Appears although big there was no damage reported and no deaths up to the point of this being posted in my blog. UPDATE, now currently 5 dead there and many, many pics coming in from lot of damage at Philippines! Also seems to have been changed from a 7.1 to a 7.0 on the Richter Scale:

Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!!! Hawaii has gotten 25 Foot Waves as the result of Hurricane Darby passing very near there just to the south of there last week! These waves have been so big that they have been seen crashing over the tops of some two-story buildings there and also seemed to have crashed at least one wedding, there, too, although word is the Wedding Day Cake. . . was saved from them big giant tidal waves brought on by the passing of this really big windstorm, there last week! Winds of 90 Mph, and Gusts of bout 125 Miles Per Hour, so I guess that would rather be called “Storm Surge” then not a tidal wave nor actually a tsunami wave, per-se, just sayin’! When this story originally aired on my local community radio show, I followed it up with an alert for Volcano, Earthquake for that Hawaii Region, ~~TODAY: Japan’s Sakurajima volcano has erupted with large volcanic rocks as far as 1.5 miles away near Tarumizu city, spewing ash and with a warning for falling volcanic rocks in areas and possible flow of lava, ash and searing gas.
~~The Sakurajima Volcano is about 600 miles southwest of Tokyo in the southern prefecture of Kagoshima on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu and an update, hundred thousand evacuations there!
So, That alert, possibly for earthquake or maybe volcano Hawaii should continue just the same now looking at Day 18 coming August Third, there!

And the interesting part about that script was the big Philippines earthquake happened early today and the script for that show was written and recorded on Monday! Sorry not about to be getting around to a "Re-Do" in time for this weeks edition!
