3.5 On The Richter Scale Struck Malibu Early Monday Morning!!! Although Now Appears To Be Downgraded To 3.4 Richters!! AND Shaking Continues Further South Near Salton Sea, Too!!!

Monday Morning brought with it some shaking at the Southern California, Los Angeles, Malibu Region!!!  Felt Report at 50 as of press time but currently includes Long Beach , Sylmar, and Northridge!!  Here's the USGS Report with the list of Nearby Places. . . . .

Hi, EQ Guy Here!   Let me tell you how things happened to be shaking over this months rather exciting May 2023 Full Moon Window now it would be last weekend!!!  Because there had been a lot of shaking at the border region with Mexico around Mexicali, I might have expected that region to begin shaking just that much more with the Full Moon Exact Moment last Friday!!!  All that just to the south of the Salton Sea and perhaps enough to release that loooooooong overdue segment which could someday be a giant sized Major Earthquake, however long story short there was just a little additional shaking at that region but as the Full Moon Window now comes to an end as this edition goes to press, an additional 3.6, 2.6, and 2.3 are showing up on the map in that region and hopefully looks like not a lot more at least for that region of Southern California!!!
-----Such is NOT the case though, FOR JAPAN!!!  The May 2023 Full Moon Window began there with a really big 6.2 Richters Major Earthquake one dead, hundred injured, and bullet train stopped!!  Felt all over the south of Japan however not so far north such as Tokyoooooo!!!  Now many good-sized aftershocks s big as 5.9 and ALL that shaking well inside my 24 hour Full Moon Windowwwww!!!!!
------Also a number of New Zealand Earthquakes too as we continue to be watching for the next big upcoming Perthquake at the Australia Region, I’m the EQ Guy and this has been This weeks Network Edition Of Earthquake Minute!!

As I'm now quickly sending this new Edition of my EQ Blog to press, the total number of felt reports coming in from 3.4 Malibu is at 160 although one might guess felt many places at least judging by the twitter messages coming in!!  Of course always the chance more shaking will follow and always the chance we should still be watching for a mega-thruster!!!
