Mr. Eisner,
Due to all of the tornadoes we’ve been getting hit by practically all across the United States as well as the fact that there was just a fairly large Tropical Cyclone that made landfall at the southern tip of Myanmar, I am writing you a short letter to let you know that the earthquake season is now starting out in California. I don’t know if you have been aware of it or not, but I know I have forwarded you at least one of my notices that there wasn’t much going on as far as potential seismic activity was concerned. And in general there really haven’t been that many Tropical Cyclones in the Southern Hemisphere over this winter compared to some years when they have had a lot of those. Of course you might know by now that I routinely track the potential seismic energy from these big windstorms making landfall and use their basic track to help me determine where the next big earthquake might be.
Today I must report to you that there is presently a new potential for a MAJOR EARTHQUAKE to be striking sometime in the very near future, although I do not believe California has that big of a chance of being the place where this one ultimately strikes, I thought I should write today just to let you know that there is a major earthquake out there! I have posted the potential magnitude of this earthquake at 7.5 Richters Magnitude. I am going to guess somewhere around Russia and China, and perhaps Japan for now. The reason for this hypothesis is because the point near the mouth of the Irrawaddy River where this cyclone made landfall is actually on the Indian Ocean tectonic plate and therefore it is my experience that what this will then do is to basically just push it against the Pacific plate, or even perhaps catch some of the Asian plate up in that region first. Each of these interactions may result in there own releases of some of this brand new seismic energy and so as a result we can watch for earthquakes up in that immediate region in the coming days, and perhaps in the days before this letter gets to you. Next, will be why I decided to write to you today, Rich, and that is the energy contacting those tectonic plates WILL THEN cause a certain amount of pushing that is in addition to the current amounts that seem to be pushing back and forth presently between Alaska and Reno, and Reno and Alaska, and Alaska and Reno, with Illinois getting pushed around in there a little bit as well.
Now, it will be possible that California just might get some of this plate tectonic bumping in the coming days and weeks, but so might Mexico, Central America, and there was just a major volcano around Chile as of Saturday Morning which more or less proves to me that this is happening! So, while this is by no means an event that has California in its crosshairs so much per se, you HAVE been under one of my unofficial all clears for so long that I just thought I should write to you to tell you that pretty much all of California should now start planning and preparing because this is what I like to call the beginning of Earthquake Season in the California Region!!!
While this one is not really an alert for California, I want everybody to know that Hurricane Season, as well as Typhoon Season, and Tornado Season in the Northern Hemisphere now brings with it dangerous seismic energy that IS moving the tectonic plates around and pushing fault lines, and causing earthquakes!!!

Earthquake Update

Hello,
I will now want to especially watch around Japan because i next expect the Asian tectonic plate to push into the Pacific plate at around that point. I'm sorry to say this could now mean a major earthquake for Japan in our immediate future. After that we should watch for the results of the Pacific plate moving, as well as something still happening around Indonesia and all those islands.

Hello,
The news about that Cyclone came in today and they've had major damage down in Myanmar, with the wind reported as high as 160 mph!
So, now I am going to raise my estimate for this now upcoming MAJOR EARTHQUAKE to as high as 7.9 Richters Magnitude with the Indonesia area potentially going as high as 8.9 Richters and at any moment now so be prepared!!! The North America region can still be days, yet.
I filed an official letter with California and will post it this week.

Hello, This is to continue the previous alert I posted earlier this week. I noticed last night that there is presently a Tropical Cyclone about to strike down around the Bay of Bengals somewhere. At last look it was a good medium sized one and the advisory said winds around 110 out to like 55 miles from the center. When it makes landfall and does damage, I will update. I had also saw where the wind speeds in the recent Richmond, Virginia area tornado were reported as high as over 100 mph. Finally, as of last night and early this morning there has been a major Alaska swarm of smallish shakers that in and of themselves do not scare me too much, but they should be taken as an indication that there is much tectonic plate movement out around the pacific plate, and that California and our West Coast could get some seismic activity at any moment.
Remember we are watching for around a 7.5 Richters Magnitude earthquake to strike anytime, now. While a full report to the California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council should be rushed at this point, I am presently extremely busy with so many other projects that it looks like it might be Monday before I get that in the mail to them, keep in mind that something could happen before then!

There has just been a major tornado strike around Richmond, Virginia with immediate reports giving the estimate of like 25 miles on the ground and the news reporting quite a lot of damage. I personally measure the potential seismic energy by the amount of damage and this one as of tonight looks like it is going to be a major amount of potential seismic energy!
Areas where they have been getting all of those earthquakes will now have to begin watching for a MAJOR EARTHQUAKE. Right off hand I am talking about the Southern Illinois people and the Reno, Nevada folks!!! While the total estimates for all of the damage won’t come in until tomorrow and beyond, right now tonight I will put my estimate for the magnitude of this now upcoming major earthquake at around 7.5 Richters Magnitude. Now, Nevada generally doesn’t shake quite as much and Illinois usually even less, but still think of 7.5 as a number that either of these could possibly reach. I suppose we should be watching out around California and Los Angeles/San Francisco, as well as Seattle and Oregon, too.
Finally, I want to report that I have had some luck with seeing the track on the ground of a tornado and if you have this information please note that the line points towards where this upcoming major earthquake might strike. I do not have that information. Until such a time as me or one of us does get that kind of info, this alert will basically be for all potential shaky places as well, such as Alaska, Japan and Indonesia and will continue for several days, although tornado resultants tend to happen fast, I suppose the alert will continue until this one strikes.
Please feel free to help alert the people that there is now a large amount of potential seismic activity out there and that I expect it to strike soon!!! Thank-You for reading!

While i have seen that there seem to be a lot of small earthquakes, including a smallish swarm around Reno, Nevada, I want everybody to know that there has not been anything in the way of potential seismic activity for some time now. Saw some buildings with the roofs torn off, but while it is indeed a high winds situation, I don't really believe it would be enough to get any of you riled up about the potential seismic energy from that. Again, i do not issue ALL CLEAR's anymore, as something could still shake somewhere, but i believe i am tracking these accurately and there is currently no major activity.

Sorry I didn’t get this sent out earlier this week! I’ve been very, very busy with several projects including a book and movie script about. . . . Well anyways, in the process of it all I didn’t get to write and mention the Alaska Swarm, but I did put the story in my book!
This swarm amounted to about three days of earthquakes out in the Adak Alaska Island region and in between there were several shakers very near Downtown Reno, Nevada. Had I written earlier in the week, I would have written that with all those swarms and the high winds of up to 55 mph, maybe more, there would be a much greater chance of a good sized small earthquake striking like our West Coast.
Of course that Preliminary Hearing kept me very, very busy for much of the week, too, as well as, most of you know, “Public Enemies” and keeping up with all that. Here is a link to the latest earthquakes so you can follow all the earthquakes in Illinois:

Finally, there is presently a typhoon by the name of: TYPHOON 02W (NEOGURI) that is heading north out of the Indian Ocean and with gusts of wind up to 90 Knots, that would translate roughly to a smaller number of mph, there may now be some potential seismic activity coming. This would especially be for like Japan and possibly China and Indonesia, and also Alaska, Seattle and then California down the road.
Don’t forget that Full Moon on April 20th or like Sunday night and that could cause potential seismic energy to be released, however I don’t really think there will be any for most of North America, but still be aware of the full moon and it’s newly correlated effects just the same. I Got The Part In “Public Enemies”!!!!!
Nothing really happening today as far as earthquakes are concerned, but I did get a call today from casting in Chicago about that part in the movie “Public Enemies”!!!
I had gone to Chicago, after checking the date I can say, in Mid-February to see the casting people and have a couple of digital shots taken to be sent to the director. At that time they needed guys to play jail inmates for both Indiana and Joliet. Of Course you know if you read Rods “Public Enemies Blog” that they already shot the scenes in Indiana now going on quite some time ago. Today was supposed to be the first of the dates for the Joliet shoot, so I decided to call them this morning.
Naturally, most of them were, as we all know by now, up in Oshkosh as the girl who answered the phone told me. The good news was that my name IS on the board for Joliet and so she said it would now be scheduled for around the first couple weeks in June. (This would be the old Joliet State Penitentiary where they shot among other things “The Blues Brothers“, and methinks some of “Prison Break.“ I think it could also be “Statesville Prison” too but I’m not sure. )
Because some of you guys write other journals and stuff and because not too many people ever actually read mine (about 140 so far) I want to ask that you don’t give out the dates. You might say “more towards the end of the shoot” or something like “quite a ways down the road, yet” but try not to say the days I just told you, because you all know how they like to keep that a secret! Of course, obviously it won’t be a secret much longer anyway, but for now, Thank-You!!!
So, I went and got a haircut today finally since it’s now been growing out for them as they requested since mid-February and so it can look nice now for a few days and very easily grow out by June and probably be the perfectly inspirational Inmate/Convict that I have been cast as! The girl at Cost Cutters asked me all kinds of questions about Johnny Depp and that stuff. I told her about the time I played a prisoner in the movie “Normal Life” where I was “Prisoner 2” standing right next to Luke Perry in the elevator and you can see me in about the last 10 scenes. I told her that they like to put me right next to a lot of the bigger stars that I work with because I had a few of these different classes where they tell you exactly how to behave around stars and she was very surprised when I told her that I was not supposed to talk to the stars. I won’t say no more about that here, please feel free to message me with any questions along those lines, though, and I’ll be glad to answer!!!

So as soon as I got back to Wisconsin I wrote a couple books about earthquakes and now have several different websites where people get what I call my Unofficial EQ Alerts. And if anybody is reading this out where they get earthquakes and you would like to be in my EQ Group and receive all the latest alerts E-Mailed directly to you let me know and I will gladly add you!!!

Hello,
I’ve just checked out the latest earthquakes on the website of the National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC), and see there hasn’t been too much going on as far as earthquakes is concerned. As a result I want to just write a short note today to continue what I formerly called my “All Clear,” but that I no longer formerly call it that.
Although there have been one or two rather small tornadoes like this week, these did not appear to be the devastatingly large ones that do the kind of damage which I feel would necessitate one of my alerts, rather you might notice just some more smaller 5 Richter Magnitude earthquakes around the edge of the Pacific Tectonic Plate and etc., and there have been NO hurricanes, typhoons, or tropical cyclones at all.
If you check out the map of current Hurricanes and Typhoons at www.hurricanezone.net you will notice that as of this writing there is NOTHING on the screen where there would be yellow and red lines delineating the lines of active windstorms if there were any. I believe this to also indicate very little potential seismic activity anywhere in the world, major seismic activity anyways.
Otherwise, I don’t have anything else to say right now, I’m building a timber fence on my moms “Back 40” and am going to put a big sign out there with a couple of 8 foot timbers and a 12 footer across the top and hang the sign there at the entrance to the three vacant lots we bought a few years ago. I’m painting the sign brown with white letters to look like the entrance to a state part or something, it will say “The Back 40.”
If there still isn’t any potential seismic energy yet this week….. I have a copy of what my acting resume would look like if I put every single thing I’ve worked on, and I might just post that, it’s like 3 pages, but it’s good reading, if I say so myself!!!

Although there have been one or two rather small tornadoes like this week, these did not appear to be the devastatingly large ones that do the kind of damage which I feel would necessitate one of my alerts, rather you might notice just some more smaller 5 Richter Magnitude earthquakes around the edge of the Pacific Tectonic Plate and etc., and there have been NO hurricanes, typhoons, or tropical cyclones at all.
If you check out the map of current Hurricanes and Typhoons at www.hurricanezone.net you will notice that as of this writing there is NOTHING on the screen where there would be yellow and red lines delineating the lines of active windstorms if there were any. I believe this to also indicate very little potential seismic activity anywhere in the world, major seismic activity anyways.
Otherwise, I don’t have anything else to say right now, I’m building a timber fence on my moms “Back 40” and am going to put a big sign out there with a couple of 8 foot timbers and a 12 footer across the top and hang the sign there at the entrance to the three vacant lots we bought a few years ago. I’m painting the sign brown with white letters to look like the entrance to a state part or something, it will say “The Back 40.”
If there still isn’t any potential seismic energy yet this week….. I have a copy of what my acting resume would look like if I put every single thing I’ve worked on, and I might just post that, it’s like 3 pages, but it’s good reading, if I say so myself!!!

Latest Letter To California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council: Kind of an old fasioned all clear!!!
HERE IS A COPY OF THE LETTER I AM SENDING TODAY TO THE CALIFORNIA EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION EVALUATION COUNCIL, IT IS BASICALLY AN ALL CLEAR AS YOU CAN SEE:

Mr. Eisner,
I’m writing to you today to let you know that in the absence of any major source of potential seismic activity, I just won’t be expecting to have any major earthquakes striking for at least the near future. You might notice that there have not been too many earthquakes above like a 6 Richters for quite some time, now.
Of course with Hurricane Season and tornado season quickly approaching it will be possible that this situation could change very quickly and in the very near future, too. That’s why I thought I should quickly just write out this letter to you and quick put a postage stamp on it and put it in the mail to you, Rich, to let you know that at least your part of the world, California, is currently under what I at one time used to refer to as an all clear. I quit issuing my all clears at some point along the way for obvious reasons, but just the same I do still like to go around and tell everybody when there ISN’T supposed to be any earthquakes as well. I feel that ultimately it is as important to the people in the most affected areas as my actual EQ Alerts are. Earthquakes generally are unheard of during what I no longer refer to as all clear periods, I’m telling you mostly like for later reference.
With that having been said, I hope you and everybody at The California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council, CEPEC, will watch and notice that California will not be getting any major earthquakes…..that is at least until I issue my next unofficial EQ Alert letting everybody know when one is coming! Note that in general this message will also apply to the National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council, (NEPEC?) but the last I knew they were not evaluating predictions, per se.
