FULL MOON JULY 2013!!!!! LOTS of Earthquakes So Far!!! MORE To Come? As Big As 9???

The exact moment of the July 2013 Full Moon will be at 11:17am on Monday Morning Pacific Time on the West Coast of the United States. There have been one or two Major Earthquakes that have struck right at almost the exact moment of the Full or New Moons but it is not real common. In just the last couple hours there have also been several rather big sized earthquakes including a 5.9 at China and several others. The Full Moon Window started off very early when at 9 Minutes after Midnight early Sunday Morning that 6.9 later downgraded to a 6.5 shook Wellington New Zealand so hard that the USGS has 6 felt reports from there!

Major Earthquakes are starting to be sort of common that occur along with the Full and New Moons and since I have started following them in just the last months there have been far too many to list here now. There have even been a few that struck right at the exact moment of the Full or New Moon say around 11am Monday Morning, but you could say that earthquakes are common enough that it's bound to happen, anyways so I won't bother to look up the names of those besides to say to BE WATCHING. . . because we do know there will continue to be earthquakes during the July 2013 Full Moon which is right now!!! New Zealand, China, Myanmar, Mandalay, Taiwan, Japan, Guam, Hawaii and possibly even Alaska and our West Coast should all be watching and be prepared because the July Full Moon could trigger this upcoming Mega-Thruster!!!!! 6.9 New Zealand!!!!! FULL MOON WINDOW Starts Sunday Morning!!!!! WATCH For More HUGE Earthquakes!!!!!

I was just going to start this EQ Blog off by saying that it seems certain we will be getting a Major Earthquake in the coming hours when my phone started RINGING with a 6.9 Major Earthquake 120 Miles North of Christchurch, New Zealand. Offshore there and no felt reports as I am writing although it's only been 10 minutes ago. Do not know about tsunamis in that region so let's hope no tsunami. The Full Moon Window as I was planning to discuss in this EQ Blog will begin at 11:17am on Sunday Morning Pacific Time, 1:17pm Central Time and as I usually like to say give it an extra hour or so just because they will sometimes strike like an hour or so early and this is where I might usually give examples. . . however right now you've just seen a fine example and so I will leave it at that. Also, New Zealand might NOT be done shaking. Of course just about anyone can tell you there could be MORE TO COME out there along that tectonic plate boundary that is very much a player in all of this new Major Earthquake Energy that we are watching here right now.

Seems very much like a sure thing that in the coming hours we will be witnessing one of those biggest Major Earthquakes of all time. . . that is if this New Zealand one hasn't already eclipsed that statement. Accurately Tracked a Similar Plate Movement To Japan 2011 Earthquake!!!!! Christchurch, Too!!!!! Be Watching Mandalay!!!

In my EQ Blog on February 8, 2011, I published an Official Prediction due to the fact that a huge windstorm similar to the one that has struck at Taiwan struck Australia and that I knew there would be a lot of similar tectonic plate movement like the one we are presently watching! I knew that was not the full force of all the Major Earthquake Energy we were watching for and so I continued that alert by extending it until March 17, 2011. You will notice in Paragraph 5 at about 7 lines down on this computer anyways, I state that the earthquake will "Either strike Japan or push the tectonic plate further North" and as we all know on March 11 it struck Japan. Of course in all of the flurry of all of those hastily written alerts, I want to point out that it probably says it in there somewhere, but it was never real likely that huge earthquake would actually affect California. Not even the reason I filed with CEPEC, and NEPEC, rather that it was so HUGE of a potential earthquake that I felt it important to fulfill my debt to all my friends in California and on our West Coast first and most importantly of all. Not that Japan was overlooked, just that I myself do not have the resources to translate all my writings to Japan and only have one reader to my knowledge there. Granted today I might have many more by way of Twitter and of course I'm very sorry I was not able to do more in those 17 days I discuss in those writings.

Finally, I mention that we carefully followed watching for Day 19 because it was the number of days from Tomas/Fiji to Baja California Earthquake, and Day 19 after the landfall of Yasi actually BECAME the date of the Chirstchurch Earthquake! If it matters to anyone Day 19 will be July 30, but the distances we were concerned with back then were Fiji to Tijuana, and Queensland to Christchurch. Today we are talking about Taipai, Taiwan to Mandalay, Banda Aceh, and Sichuan, China and I do not feel Day 19 should be a factor right at the moment. On the other hand Day 10 will be Monday, July 22 and also the July FULL MOON!!!!! THAT should be one big earthquake with the full moon window beginning at 11 AM on Sunday Morning!!!!! Will Mandalay Be Epicenter of Next Major Earthquake? Does Mandalay Have "Reverse 911"???

I also found the Kuril Islands and Kamchatka in the soon to be affected region, but today am looking closely at a city of a million people named Mandalay. I found this picture on Wikipedia showing Mandalay Hill in the foreground, but an awesome view of the mountains in the background there which could turn out to be the location of this earthquake.

Also should mention Mandalay Region and Shan State because they look like they are two different States or Provinces similar to Illinois and Missouri as opposed to saying Chicago or St. Louis especially since we know there is a huge earthquake coming. Someone along the way also commented that they might not have "Reverse 911" in a lot of those far away places and as a result it might not even be possible into the foreseeable future to even get such a message out to a lot of the people that might be affected. When you also include Banda Aceh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Phuket you also have to wonder if they even have things such as cell phone service in a lot of those places. Sorry that is a question that I do not know the answer to, as well as if they even have 3G or 4G service, too.

Just sayin' it might not so much be the fact that we aren't getting this message out to possibly hundreds of thousands of people who could be in the path of the next MegaThruster. . . it's as much a fact that there just might be no such system in existence to deliver the message if we were going to want to. At some point there are many who would also need to evacuate such as a lot of the victims of the 2004 Tsunami would have needed to in order to avoid those huge waves that are many times bigger than some of the islands out there that were overtaken by waves.

Someday we might need to routinely evacuate a lot of them as a precaution when there is the potential for a Major Earthquake or MegaThruster heading for them such as there very well could be right now. Thank-You For Reading!!! EQ Guy

EQ Alert for Big Giant Mega-Thruster Major Earthquake Continues!!!!! Yellowstone/Wyoming Get 3 Shakers!!! Great Cascadia Earthquake Coming?

I guess I never yet actually figured out if there should be a hyphen in MegaThruster like Mega-Thruster, but what I do know is there is one heading for all of our friends on the other side of the world right now and still a small possibility it could also become this "Great Cascadia" Earthquake that a lot of folks have been talking about for some time now, too! Just exactly where did all of that upwards of 300 Richters of potential Major Earthquake energy that was the Alaska Swarm head off to. . . and where is it right now? Well, it's 300 Richters so I am thinking it is out there SOMEWHERE. Best guess there is that Typhoon Soulik pushed Taiwan up against the Asian Tectonic Plate with Taiwan possibly being situated along the far Western edge of the Pacific Plate and thus drawing that edge along with it and catching that far upper Northeastern corner of the Pacific Plate away from the North American Plate at right about there where all that Alaska Seismic Activity struck. THEN, now moving the Asian Plate due West!!! Watch Out Mandalay because according to my calculations and my theory of "Precision Plate Tectonics" all of this earthquake energy should be striking at or near Mandalay in the coming hours with Friday being Day 7 and the July Full Moon Window starting Sunday or Day 9. Sichuan China Earthquake was Day 10 after landfall of Cyclone Nargis at Myanmar.

Great Sumatra Earthquake and Tsunami struck at 00:58 UTC on December 26, 2004 and December 2004 Full Moon exact moment was December 26 at 15:07 UTC, so 14 hours, and 8 minutes before exact moment of December 2004 Full Moon. If this would duplicate which is not likely, that would be at around Noon Pacific Time on Sunday or 11:17am PDT to be exact. So let us be watching until then for up to 9.3 Richters of Huge Earthquake Energy for Mandalay and their neighbors. . . and don't forget the Major Alert for NorCal does not actually END until the night of the Full Moon next week, too!

6.0 Richters Strikes Peru!!! 275 Richters Swarm Alaska!!! MEGATHRUSTER is Coming!!!!!

That huge Earthquake Swarm that was striking at Alaska seems to have stopped as of 2:30 this afternoon at a Grand Total of 275 Richters with this update bringing us up to the total today of 220 Richters and another 50+ Richters happening early this afternoon. The latest is that there was also a small earthquake that struck out in the middle of San Francisco Bay just North of Daly City and Offshore from the GGB as well as now upwards of two or more that have struck right AT Taiwan where the landfall of Typhoon Soulik started all of this in the first place and I want to add that I have heard that Taiwan also from time to time gets Major Earthquakes and I am not sure but could guess that from time to time they might also get MegaThrusters such as the one we are now watching for. Alaska, Japan, Taiwan, Guam, Hawaii, Cascadia, NorCal and etc. should ALL be watching because there is probably a big giant MegaThruster headed directly for somebody, somewhere right this moment!!!!! 175 Richters of Earthquakes Strike Alaska!!!!! A Mega-Thruster is Coming!!! 9 Magnitude???

While I was so busy checking on all the other numbers. . . . . Alaska started getting this now huge swarm of earthquakes that must have just been running all day long immediately after that 7.3 at Sandwich Islands that could have triggered it. So keep watching although especially the Himilayan Arc and Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia for this now brand new upcoming Major Earthquake and possibly Mega-Thruster with huge Tsunami or even a huge volcano! Something big is about to be happening over on the other side of the world and could be as big as 7.6 to 9.3 Richters! After the landfall of Nargis at Myanmar it was Day 10 when the Sichuan, China Earthquake struck and so it won't be long now! MEGATHRUSTER 2013 is Coming!!! Mandalay? Laos? Nepal? Guizhou? Malaysia? Japan? Guam or Hawaii???

There have been a lot of big earthquakes just in the moments before I wrote todays EQ Blog including a 7.3 at the Sandwich Islands, a 5.8 at Tonga, and 4.9 Dominican Republic. Late last night there were at least two at the Philippines a 4.8 and 5.0 which might not have mattered except they were just south of the landfall of Typhoon Soulik also the location of a 5.3 Richters earthquake that struck at 8:41am Central Time this morning 80 Miles Offshore East of Taiwan! This new Major Earthquake Energy is on the move and it is looking like it WILL BE the Major Megathruster of 2013!!!!! Kind of large foreshocks and a 7.3 as far south as the Sandwich Islands and all of those Philippines, Tonga and the Taiwan Offshore Earthquake are probably the Pacific Tectonic Plate moving speedily up against the Asian and Indian Ocean Tectonic Plates! One of these tectonic plate boundaries is about to give way!!!!!

Here is my new updated list of exact locations along the lines where the epicenter could strike: We know Sichuan, China is along that fault line and that the Banda Aceh, Phuket, Andaman and Nicobar Islands of Sumatra, Indonesia are all out there along this line, but this morning I also discovered Mandalay, Laos, Chiang Mai, Thailand, Guizhou, Kweichow, and Guiyang, China, and Brunei, Malaysia in there, too. Nepal and Saharanpur are situated to the North of the possible epicenter and could be affected. I also noticed Chittagong actually part of Bangladesh situated out more towards the coast but with this new line of possible Major Earthquake Energy bisecting it and so I suppose it belongs on this list although it is on the coast at the Bay of Bengals.

Everybody Please Keep Your Eyes on all of this new Major Earthquake Energy!!! It probably eventually WILL Produce our next Major Earthquake whether a "Megathruster" or not there does seem to be a HUGE amount of Major Earthquake Energy over in that region and it could range from 7.6 Richters all the way up to about a 9.3 Richters with enormous potential for a Major Tsunami at a lot of those regions, too! I'm thinking we could be about due for a Major Earthquake, Tsunami, or even Major Volcano!!! New Upcoming Major Earthquake as Big as 9 or 10 Richters??? Myanmar? Bangladesh? Banda Aceh? Guam? Hawaii???

I will have a complete update on this new upcoming Major Earthquake in the days to come, but for tonight I want to just add this here update. I will gather the damage report from the landfall of Super Typhoon Nanmadol of around December 9, 2004 at Taiwan that preceded the Great Sumatra Earthquake, but want to just write tonight that I had an EQ Alert posted a day or so before discussing a possible earthquake as big as 9 or 10 Richters!!! Therefore I want to just write this up quick tonight after having had some time to think about it while working all day yesterday and all day today until Midnight, I came up with 9 or 10 for the possible Magnitude now of this new earthquake based mostly on that "Big EQ Alert" from December 2004 that you can view at one of my Great You Tube Vids @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWBrJpye9MA Not exactly sure if that vid discusses the damage at Taiwan and the path will be a lot different, but it probably shows the range of Richters we will now be watching for and will clearly show that we were already talking about it BEFORE that 9 Richters Earthquake struck!

I am thinking about giving the range as between 8 and 10 Ricthers, but of course 8 is not really all that likely to be the low number, here, it is just me working those numbers and they still need some work, yet. (7.6 TO 10?) Doubt if I will ultimately go with 10 for the high number, here, thinking the size and scope of that landfall of Typhoon Soulik was less overall than that of Super Typhoon Nanmadol. (7.6 TO 9.3?) Updates on all this information coming!!! Myanmar, Bangladesh, Guam, Wake Island, Banda Aceh, and Hawaii for the immediate day or so. I will also want to take a look at the names of the cities that are situated right there on that fault line between the Indian Ocean and Asian Tectonic Plates near Sichuan, China and the only reason I am not adding Sichuan, China tonight is because they may not be due for another big one. Probably a Major Earthquake Alert for Sichuan China!!! Also Myanmar, Bangladesh, Guam, Hawaii, etc.!!!

Looking at the story about the landfall of Typhoon Soulik at Taiwan it looks very, very serious right this moment. Appears they are getting a lot of rain with this huge storm and reports state the Gusts at 130 mph when it struck Taiwan. Here's a NY Daily Story @ http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/typhoon-soulik-wreaks-havoc-taiwan-article-1.1397910 The story mentions Sichuan, China getting excessive amounts of rain and check out that pic of the house washed into the river just by those outer bands of that huge Typhoon! I might expect the new Major Earthquake Energy from this huge typhoon to first affect Sichuan China directly! Not unusual for heavy rains and a huge windstorm to be followed immediately by a Major Earthquake and all most unfortunate for those people, too! OTHER Regions that might be affected will include Myanmar, Bangladesh, Yeman, Guam, Hawaii, Pakistan, Oman, UAE, and South Iran. I will also be watching Lima, Peru but it should probably take some time to reach the other side of the Pacific Tectonic Plate, yet. Meantime Guam, Wake Island, and Hawaii should be watching for some of this Major Earthquake Energy!

I double-checked the landfall of Tropical Storm Chantal at Dominican Republic and have now come up with New Madrid, Montgomery Alabama, Idaho, Yellowstone and we will still want to watch the Richmond, Virginia region although it is possible they are situated more north of this direct line. New Madrid appears to me directly in line or just south of it for folks in the Cairo, Illinois/St. Louis region where it will go directly through but I will have a better update on that exact line to come. For today just be aware that something new is heading up that way and could strike one of those out of the way Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois places in the next few days. 3 to 5 Richters?

Finally, I re-counted all the numbers from the L.A. and NorCal Official Predictions and notice the one for Los Angeles ran out on July 11 and about the only worry there would be the Frisco alert affecting them or any random movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate getting involved with all the existing swarms around SoCal. The other alert/O.P. for Northern California will continue to run through July 22, 2012 after I have now run all those numbers one final time. Those swarms seem to now be easing up and hopefully that will be the end of all the seismic activity around California with all the new stuff NOT expected to affect California or our West Coast. Just those few days left on NorCal that could always produce a Major Earthquake, so let us continue watching California till a week from Monday! And China/Myanmar, etc. RIGHT NOW!!! EQ Guy

New Washington DC Earthquake? ALSO Landfall of Typhoon Soulik Very Soon at Taiwan!!!!! Watch Guam, Myanmar, Sichuan!!!

When Super Typhoon Nanmadol made landfall at Taiwan it preceded the now Great Sumatra Earthquake and Tsunami of 2004, Typhoon Soulik is not quite as big as Nanmadol was but there isn't much else going on so I will just continue to track the latest Major Earthquakes all around the world. . . even though this next MAJOR one is not likely to affect California or our West Coast. Do keep watching Northern California through that present alert/O.P. though just the same. When Typhoon Soulik does make landfall both at Taiwan and later at China there will be a brand new Major EQ Alert for Guam, Kiribati, Sichuan China, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, New Delhi, and Yemen. Down the road the line will cross somewhere in Chile North of Santiago and South of Peru, but I will have more details on that later. The line at landfall is not expected to change too much so if you are one of those places there might be Major Earthquake Energy heading or you in the coming days.

I am now officially keeping track of the possible Earthquake Energy from the landfall of Tropical Storm Chantal at Dominican Republic and have winds listed at 60 with gusts of 70mph. For damage I have written on my report right here in front of me that the roofs were ripped off 15 homes and power lines were toppled in Dominica, while 7000 were without power in Puerto Rico. So this is basically looking more like hopefully just another average Richmond, VA / Washington, DC type of earthquake and shouldn't be too much more than a blip in the news there. 3.4 Richters Dominican Republic! Let's Watch Richmond, DC!!! Also Huge Typhoon Coming!!! Bejing Earthquake?

I have now seen what they are starting to call the end of Tropical Storm Chantal and you will want to now remember this day because it is the day T.S. Chantal dragged across the Island of Hispaniola and as of just after 9 O'Clock tonight Central Time there was also just a 3.4 Richters Earthquake right there at the same side of that island that this huge windstorm just struck! SEE: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/pr13192001#summary THIS could mean all of whatever amount of earthquake energy will now be headed up towards Richmond, VA and Washington, D.C although it hopefully will not be as much as Hurricane Irene that preceded the biggest of the recent Richmond Virginia Earthquakes in 2011. We should probably watch anyways and think earthquake preperation up in those shaky East Coast Cities!!!

Huge Typhoon Soulik is about to make landfall at the Northern tip of Taiwan and then strengthen before making landfall at China. I checked and did not find any earthquakes that have the name Bejing, but that's not to say Bejing could not get an earthquake and I suppose some of those great China Earthquakes have probably been very near Bejing just not had Bejing in the name. Looks like this one might!!!

There was also those three earthquakes that struck the Northern California Region today: 1.9 struck 22 Miles East of Red Bluff, 2.5 struck 37 Miles South West of Red Bluff, and another 1.9 that struck somewhat closer to Eureka but still 50 or 100 Miles West of Red Bluff. While they do add up to 6.3 not sure if that matters since they are actually miles apart and to add them into a formula they would at least need to be a little closer together if you know what I mean. So, we should still be watching NorCal anyways and now this! Keep Watching Northern Cali because there are still a few days left on that alert!!! EQ Guy

Typhoon Soulik Heads For Shanghai, China!!!!! Chantal Maybe NOT a Hurricane, but Haiti? Richmond? And NorCal Alert Continues!

I had been watching what looked like it might become a Hurricane named Chantal crossing the Caribbean Seas and right this moment virtually on top of Hispaniola, but looking more like just a big windstorm than anything too organized. Even mentioned somewhere that it might soon be considered a "Tropical Wave" which I will assume is a notch down from Tropical Storm. Still some winds at Haiti and a shaky place in the first place while I have also heard mention of heavy rains and so we might want to at least be aware that there IS some earthquake energy down that way as we have been seeing at Antiqua and Barbuda so perhaps we should keep an eye on Haiti for the next few days because this is a potential 7 Magnitude Earthquake and also continue watching NorCal for it, too.

HUGE Windstorm named Typhoon Soulik is quickly bearing down on Shanghai, China with windspeeds of 150 to 185 Mph being mentioned, and before it's all over is virtually guaranteed to generate a ton of brand new Major Earthquake Energy for sure for the Pacific Tectonic Plate and while the immediate areas of concern will all be the Himilayan Arc. . . we will badly need to start watching all of the Pacific until I know more!!! You might want to take a look at this Great EQ Alert upon the landfall of Hurricane Irene at Pureto Rico back in August of 2011 @ http://earthquakealert.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-earthquake-energy-stay-tuned.html TODAY you will want to know that alert was followed the following afternoon by the now famous Richmond, Virginia 5.9 Earthquake that did all the damage in the Washington D.C. area!!! Is it possible that this present windstorm coming up now along sort of the same track will have some effect on our East Coast??? Haven't really had a lot of time to review the track and Chantal has quite a lot of forward speed which I suppose could itself contribute to possible Earthquake Energy so perhaps watch the East Coast a few days, too, and Chantal as well for something big to possibly happen there.

Finally there was a 2.3 earthquake 10 Miles South of Cairo, Illinois at Bardwell, Kentucky and there might still be some earthquake energy heading for Illinois and Chicago just because that one does not run out for a few days yet and although we did have plenty of earthquakes in that region during this alert. . . we might still watch through say July 21, 2013 on that one and NorCal, too!
