On The Anniversary of The Now Great Northridge Earthquake There Was a 3.6 Richters Earthquake Struck Near New Madrid, Missouri, and a 5.9 Nicaragua Earthquake Also Shook Much of Costa Rica, Too!!!

This is a fairly good sized earthquake for the New Madrid Region on Tuesday and you may remember I've discussed the fact that those ORIGINAL New Madrid Earthquakes struck in the middle of the Winter Months, too, infact there's an anniversary coming up of one of the big ones there on January 23 it will be something in the order of 205 years!!! Virginia City Swarm DOES Seem To Be Associated With The January 2018 New Moon!!! Swarm Will Probably Migrate, Yet, And COULD Lead To Next Medium-Sized California Earthquake!!! Exact Moment of New Moon Late Tuesday Night!!!

I'm going to post what I have here today mostly because the Exact Moment of the January New Moon will come late Tuesday Night and up to this point there had been the chance that Virginia City Swarm could have been affected, but it's right now looking like the effect might be it is ENDING!!! Not much of a story there inandof itself you know, but there's more! Looks like you could say it QUIT just over the 24 hours BEFORE the Exact Moment and so might guess the New Moon DID play at least somewhat of a role in all the shaking there at Virginia City, Nevada. Next thing that usually happens on one of these is the swarms tend to migrate and will very likely now show up at one of the other usual shaky places, the other event we'll be watching for is it could have the effect of a Medium-Sized California Earthquake!!! Exact Moment Tuesday Night, and we'll need to watch for that probably at least through those same 5 days and the swarm will probably migrate before then, too!!!

When this one struck I was pondering if and when there might be something to be concerned about regarding all of the Virginia City Earthquakes!!! It's not exactly accepted science just yet that California could be looking at a Major Earthquake following all that, but here's the one that came in on Sunday which falls along those lines and might be reason to WATCH California for more:

The Exact Moment of the New Moon will be 8:18pm Central Time on Tuesday Night and the New Moon Window will run through Wednesday. We might continue to watch Virginia City, Nevada, however looks like it might have actually been STOPPED by the New Moon Window and makes it likely SOMEPLACE ELSE will shake next and always watch for somebody to magically begin shaking AT the exact moment, too!!!

7.1 Richters Struck 200 Plus Miles Southwest of Cusco, Peru and I Had Predicted One For 100 Miles Southwest of Cusco, Peru!!! LOTS of Shaking at Virginia City, Nevada Could Mean Major California Shaker And January New Moon Window Starts Late Monday!!!

There are some other things going on today, but 7.1 Peru happened to have struck 240 Miles Southwest of Cusco, Peru and I had said 100 miles Southwest of Cusco, Peru and 6.5 Richters, earlier with this one being Day 70 after landfall of Typhoon Damrey at Vietnam with one dead there. Might have been adequete to qualify as one of those "X-Prize" Earthquake Predictions if not for the fact that I've found two varying numbers for the distance this epicenter was from CUSCO. I have written on my note in front of me 339 Kilometers from earlier on Sunday which translates to 210 Miles from Cusco and well within the 125 miles I've heard them state. . . however since they have not actually legitimately declared earthquake prediction one of their competitions, then it's neither here nor there is it! Things are happening as I'm writing this new edition of my EQ Blog tonight, folks!!! So the felt report on the biggest one that was big at the time it struck and now posted as a 5.5, FELT REPORT currently at 71 with the main city: Baghdad, Bagdad, Iraq, 46 Felt Reports, 131 km From Epicenter and then I deleted the Longitude and Latitudes due to nobody probably being interested in that.

My biggest concern right now is Botswana and Mozambique Region because things are looking like that landfall of Cyclone Ava at Madagascar could have been quite a shock wave and currently responsible for a reasonable amount of shaking! And will probably be responsible for MORE!!! Remember, only a matter of moments now before my phone will be ringing again and we'll be talking about South Africa/Botswana/Mozambique and possibly Madagascar and the next Major Earthquake for that Region!!!!!

I'll update this entire list right here and now because something MAJOR could just come along at any moment with this much going on. . . and then I know I'd never get to it!!! I want to begin with that discussion on Peru and keep that alert in affect to Mid-January and that same alert also applies Tuvalu, and Andaman/Nicobar Islands, although I see those islands may also be in next one! With that next alert goes Vietnam where they've been getting them and Philippines where they've also got some shaking. While I can't always be sure if my theory requires those Severe Winter Conditions to continue for plate tectonic movement. . . it is a fact they had a 7.6 yesterday at Offshore Honduras and so this could certainly affect our West Coast and California, yet, with looks like more Cold and Snow on the way, too!!!

Most recently landfall of Cyclone Ava at Madagascar, I guess see that drawing above, on January 5, 2018 will be running a while yet for Botswana, Mozambique, possibly Madagascar itself, and then onto places such as Ecuador, and Peru with Jakarta and Philippines in the other direction but lately proving an effective source for some Big Earthquakes!!!

7.6 Richters Earthquake Struck 100 Miles Northeast of Honduras, 100 Miles Southwest of Cayman Islands!!! Tsunami Alert Was Issued, Water Receded at Belize, And Not Much of a Tsunami Before Alert Was Canceled!!!

Not sure where all I said in yesterdays EQ Blog, and likewise not sure all the names I am adding in the remainder of todays previously written blog. . . but NOW have to report a 7.6 Richters Major Earthquake struck North of Honduras late Tuesday Night my time or just after I'd got out of work on Promo's Night there!!! Looks without doing a lot of checking this late at night, like this could very much be in line with all the info I discussed just yesterday, and yes it's possible something could already shake today, too!!! Between now and when I compose tomorrows EQ Blog, I'll also be wondering if Los Angeles or much of California could be next in line for upwards of now 7.6 Richters such as this Honduras Region just got!!! Further, could this Honduras Region shaker be a lot of movement of the tectonic plate from those severe winter conditions I discuss in the "Earthquake Minute" that is posted inside this blog, too!? Before moving onto other stuff previously posted here, must add there HAD BEEN a very dangerous Tsunami Alert for a lot of those areas out in that Caribbean Region to the north of Honduras, and a few off hand include Grand Cayman Islands, Cuba, and Jamaica with a real Tsunami Alert, water receding, and everything!!! Seems to have past as of just after midnight Central Time reports are saying it's been canceled. . . but when ocean receeds, always feels like bad thing to come from experience now!!! Saying it's past, but between phone ringing on my way home from work, stopping at truck stop to check and find 7.6 Honduras, and turning on car radio to 780am Chicago to hear the latest on CBS Radio News at 8:31pm was busy time for EQ Guy!!! At first this looked like an earthquake striking right at the point of landfall recently of Typhoon Tembin, then I went and compared Makong Delta on Google Earth. . . and came up with this epicenter being about 500 miles north of where that landfall was on December 25th there. Possibly still connected to area that we DO happen to be watching just the same, although I might expect some bigger shaking! Not sure if Vietnam will be getting any more of it, because this one looks fairly big for them:

Tropical Cyclone Ava Landfall at Madagascar!!! Made Landfall as CAT-2 Sized Hurricane!!! Reports-6 Dead There! Now New Alerts For Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Etc.!!!

Todays top story unless a Major Earthquake comes along is the landfall of Cyclone Ava at Madagascar they're calling a CAT-2 Equivalent! A quick check of the globe to see exactly where we are at with this one shows Mozambique directly across the channel there and Mozambique can usually be counted on to get some shaking as the result of this.

Of course Madagascar itself could get some shaking from this big windstorm and then the line continues on through Botswana, but Zimbabwe is nearby and so is Nambia. . . although Botswana is getting more and more like Oklahoma these days and is almost certain at this point for at least a 5 Magnitude, although this one could go as high as 7 there. And my regular readers already know we got Botswana on the money recently, too, and a place where they had virtually never had earthquakes up to that point in time, too! This new alert will go on over towards South America and cross Columbia in the upcoming days and weeks with plenty more on that to come!!!

4.7 Richters San Francisco Bay/Oakland/Emeryville, Actually Near Downtown Berkeley, California Earthquake Yesterday WAS Downgraded To a 4.4 Later!!! With Continuing Severe Winter Conditions, Keep Watching For More Shaking!!!

Yes, the message to my phone that came in at 4:44am in the early hours of Thursday, (Central Time) that message said and still says it was a 4.69 on the Richter Scale! Heard somewhere along the way it had been downgraded so I checked and you're now up to date, apparently it was downgraded sometime before I began to do all the usual research and that fact just now came up!!! Felt Report on that one, regardless of what the final tally on the magnitude is currently at 37,505. . . . .and still growing even at press time early Friday, now!!! Looks like there might be a new edition of "Earthquake Minute" headed into production to be submitted to my friends at the Pacifica Radio Network and especially since I'm even right now as I type this, wearing my brand-new "Democracy Now" Hoodie!!!!!

So be watching because it's very possible California could shake more YET!!! Also West Coast and I have to say some shaky East Coast places could be subject to earthquakes at this point, too!!! And of course we shouldn't forget Oklahoma, New Madrid, Illinois, and possibly Yellowstone and Montana because we didn't say them the last time! Everybody be watching there!!!
