Speaking of earthquakes that we've been waiting for to be happening at a few different places around the world, my phone seems to have been ringing virtually non-stop with them! This one happened during the day on Thursday and it's getting so I'm now just a little unnerved by the ringing. . . knowing it could be something Extreme!!! Here's a 5.9 near Santiago, Chile just in on Thursday Afternoon:

This one came in late Wednesday and has now been virtually buried by all the aftershocks although I did say Alaska, keep watching more towards Fairbanks and Barrow, Alaska because this one shook the Alaska Islands and would not be the one we're watching for! More likely these indicate movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate which will be a factor in more to come. The 5.8 is a ways down and they read UP from there:

Exact Moment of the October New Moon will be on Sunday, October 30 at 12:40pm Central Time, or 10:40am Pacific Time. So the New Moon Window starts early Saturday at 12:40pm Central, 10:40am Pacific Time. Just noticed as I double-checked those dates there seem to be TWO New Moons in October 2016. . . but since it's a New Moon and not a full moon do we NOT call it a "Blue New Moon"? Just know there will probably be a significant increase in earthquakes starting about right this moment you're reading this!!! Continueing all weekend through Monday, although a few Major Alerts will continue far beyond the New Moon and I'll have such updates into next week about some alerts that are now running into January 2017!!!
