Next BIG ONE Has just struck Oklahoma!!! As I was already in front of the computer putting all of the stuff that follows together for a Monday EQ Blog, I opened the list of latest earthquakes for a look at the felt report on the following Beverly Hills Earthquake and right there in bright red at the TOP of the list was "5.3 3km West of Cushing, Oklahoma"!!!!! Although as I write a half-hour after that one, over 5000 Felt Reports including as far away as Alabama and Illinois!!! It will be into Monday before that felt report fills out and is posted, but until then the possibility of BIGGER EARTHQUAKES remain out there and so watch everywhere because it is just a little more likely that earthquakes following 5.3 Oklahoma could strike California or our West Coast or as you will read in the rest of Mondays EQ Blog, East Coast is already shaking, too!!! Keep Watching for more earthquakes!!! Now previously written EQ Blog:
This earthquake is FAR too big to ignore!!! Not so much because of the size of it or so much because of the fact that it lists Beverly Hills as the epicenter. . . big deal here is the fact that it did not turn out to be up in the usual shaky place there, no. This epicenter if it was EVER to become the epicenter of a Major Earthquake. . . is Bel-Air!!! Check out the list of Nearby Places:

Well both of these tiny 2.0 sized earthquakes barely added up to a new edition of my EQ Blog, but when you add that all together with the fact that it's Monday. . . here's the other 2.0 just offshore from "Coney Island" in New York!!!!! Me, apparently too busy watching Sunday Night Football Oakland Raiders game. . . to notice ground rumbling under my feet!!! However ones that followed at 8:23, and 8:27 have been noted! Update over 9000 Felt Reports and now includes Dayton Ohio, Milwaukee, and Fargo!!! More earthquakes are sure to follow so be watching and be prepared!!! EQ Guy
