California Has Just Started Doing Some Garden Variety Shaking, But There Could ALWAYS Be Something Major Shaking There, So Here's Tuesdays EQ Blog!!!

All of the following information is just now coming in as I was about to leave this EQ Blog and publish it like later on Tuesday perhaps after I get home from work. . . where I'm going right this moment. THAT was until all of the following showed up on the list of latest earthquakes and all about California, too, which incidentally has no big alerts for them aside from garden variety movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate you know! Came across this interesting story that agrees with my work!!! Check It Out: Paolo Messina, the director of the Institute of Environmental Geology and Geoengineering at Italy’s National Research Council, said that Sunday’s earthquake was linked to the quakes in August. “It’s a complex situation, where a fault is breaking in sections,” he said. On one hand, the repeated quakes were positive, “because if it occurred all at once the magnitude would be much higher,” he said in a telephone interview. “At the same time, it is causing terrible damage,” he said.

So as I head out the door for work at my local radio station you are pretty much up-to-date on all the earthquake stuff going on as of Tuesday!!! Phone has not rang in quite some time with any big ones. . . but most of you like to be kept up on even the smaller ones in California, so there you have it!!! EQ Guy
