Another 6.2 Richters Earthquake Struck North of New Zealand!!! Also a 5.3 Struck The Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Too!!! Still That Alert For California, Now, Too!!! Update: Fridays Edition of "Earthquake Minute"!!!

Now that I've gone and introduced this one first in the banner headline, I'll just leave it right here at the top of todays stories even though the big 6.2 New Zealand Earthquake was a bigger one!!! Check out the list of "Nearby Places" and tell me if that Portugal one isn't the Azore Islands:

Now two of these have shaken this same general region and on this particular one from early Thursday, it's listed a lot of places in New Zealand, most notably Auckland!!!

Although the update just added a 2.1 there around 5pm my time:

Finally as I mentioned yesterday, it's probably worth noting that the movement we're watching of the North American Tectonic Plate WILL mean California could get some shaking!!! Yes, I've been all the talk about Illinois, Missouri, and even Oklahoma getting a lot of this. . . but when all New Moon Shaking got a going especially in Yellowstone I decided it was time to start talking about California!!! So, we're talking about California!!! Could shake, maybe this weekend, but shouldn't be all that big if it does at around a 5!!! Good Holiday Weekend, Everybody!!! EQ Guy
