Fridays EQ Blog: Caribbean Tectonic Plate Movement COULD Be Cause of Big Mexico 8.1 Earthquake, AND Big Mexico City 7.1 Earthquakes!!! Similar Tectonic Plate Movement COULD Now Produce Up To a 7.7 Richters San Francisco Earthquake!!!!!

Found in research of the 1928 Puerto Rico Hurricane of CAT-5 Landfall there on September 13, 1928, a 7.5 Oaxaca, Mexico on October 9, 1928, AND a 6.4 earthquake struck Chihuahua (state), Mexico on November 1, 1928 there!!! Watch out right now, too, because there was also a 6.5 earthquake struck the Windward Islands on September 27, 1928 and a 6.8 at Peru!!!

The lines that I'm seeing as I attempt to follow exactly where all this might lead do not seem to travel as religiously as some other lines such as that from landfall of Hurricane Hugo at Charleston to World Series Earthquake in 1989, and I'm currently observing that Puerto Rico, as the above drawing shows, is on the Caribbean Tectonic Plate and the line must cross over onto the North American Tectonic Plate, there. Such lines do not always cross and sometimes become basic tectonic plate movement which could explain that epicenter of the Virginia Earthquake as well as the 1928 Oaxaca, and Chihuahua Earthquakes. . . as well, I suppose the 2017 Mexico 8.1, and Mexico City 7.1 there, too!!!

Therefore, while this line DOES travel towards San Francisco, it probably will be a big alert for them just the same and especially because of the landfall of Hurricane Irma at Ragged Island where THAT line also heads towards the San Francisco Bay Region!!! It's an alert. . . or an alert! Depending on how you look at it!!!

Two other facts that I want to discuss today with REFERENCE to that above pic of the Caribbean Plate!!! First, after Hurricane Irma made landfall at the Leeward Islands, September 5, 2017 around 1:30pm. . . the 8.1 Richters Chiapas, Mexico Earthquake struck on September 7, 2017 at 11:49pm, or 2 days and 10 hours after! That could be considered time enough to look at the above drawing and track a line from the far right edge of where I've circled the Caribbean Plate with BROWN there to Mexico due west. Or move that entire plate up against that part of Mexico where it shook. Next the landfall of Hurricane Maria at the Leeward Islands, on September 18, 2017, 9pm and then on September 19, 2017 at 1:14pm the Big 7.1 Mexico City Earthquake Struck or 17 hours after Marias Landfall at Leeward Islands, and Day 14 after Irma/Leeward Islands. We will probably never know if Irma did it, or Maria did it. . . and Hurricane Harvey made landfall at Texas the same day as Irma at Leeward Islands, so there's your answer! Because Hurricane Harvey would probably also have been a player in all of the shaking having been situated so near Mexico while all of this was going on! As you can probably also see in that above pic, there!!!

Now regarding this other pic/illustration I've prepared for todays EQ Blog, this one clearly shows Puerto Rico at the Right circled in black. . . and San Francisco at the left also circled in black:

THIS is what I'm talking about when I say line DOES go directly up to San Francisco from where Hurricane Maria just made landfall at Puerto Rico. THIS Could now be a Huge Earthquake Up there in that San Francisco Bay Region, there!!! BUT. . . as you can see in the top picture THAT line would have to cross that brown line from Caribbean Tectonic Plate to North American Plate and as was the case with both of those Mexico Earthquakes, I can't exactly be sure it wasn't your basic movement of the tectonic plates and NOT Earthquake Energy following along that hypothetical straight-line! Either way the Major Earthquake Energy is PROBABLY headed in about that same direction. . . but in the one scenerio it will be a HUGE San Francisco Earthquake coming soon!!! As big as about equal or bigger than those Mexico Shakers, or perhaps 7.7 might be a good number to start watching for up in that shaky Northern California Region!!!!!

This one looks like it might be finally coming to an end! After that Landfall of Typhoon Noru at Japan on August 6, 2017 Headed Directly For Salem, OR/Mt. St. Helens. . . I know I said MOUNT SAINT HELENS, a lot!!! Sorry, but it now looks like we'll probably have to settle for just a lot of swarm action there, no big giant eruption like could have happened. Here's all the shakers that shook that region in the days FOLLOWING that landfall at Japan and actually started on Day-10 and now recently seem to have slowed as of September 18, 2017 or about Day 43 there!!! Here's the entire list now that we can hopefully talk about all this in past tense!!! NOW 66 Total shakers at the Mt. St. Helens Region:

Starting right now all eyes should be on San Francisco because it doesn't look like there is any way to avoid that region going as high as a 7.7 Richters Shaker coming in the very near future!!! No matter if it travels there by way of the straight line shown in pic#2. . . or by way of tectonic plate movement, still going to probably be a big earthquake!!!!! Watch for that!!!
