Big 5.3 Richters Earthquake Struck Near Anchorage!!! At Press Time a Big 5.0 Struck Near Downtown Guayaquil, Ecuador, And There Was a 6.0 PNG Shaker Late Sunday Night!!!

Right at press time I notice Ecuador had a fairly good sized earthquake and looks like a 5.0 at the moment, although a look at a past one that must have struck there a couple weeks ago says lots of damage and THAT one was more like a dozen miles east of Guayaquil, Ecuador. . . THIS one was more like 3 or 5 miles north and could be a more major and more damaging earthquake!!! Won't get all the details on that one until Tuesday and it might be midnight there since it's very close to that here and they are like on our Eastern or Atlantic Time there.

As of this writing we're still watching that big volcano at Bali, Indonesia and they had been talking about it being rather likely to undergo a MAJOR ERUPTION!!! I had heard it was expanding and sounded like THAT meant a huge eruption was certain, but they have also sounded like it might be all done erupting ash. . . and that might be the end of it!!!

On another note we HAD been watching Alaska!!! My notes say 5 or 6 and while the Monday Anchorage Shaker was just a few miles to the south of the line I was watching through Fairbanks, we should probably keep watching Alaska, but now Edmonton and Chicago are next along the line there, too!!! And Haiti not too far beyond that!!! Watch all those places because it could be said that Anchorage Earthquake was really close to the line we are following!!!
