Just As I Was About To Update Landfall of Typhoon LAN at Japan, a 4.7 Richters Earthquake Struck 50 Miles Southwest of Vancouver Island, Canada!!! We'll Have To Start Watching That Region Along With Chicago, Alaska, and Haiti, Now, Too!!!

Had been waiting to post all of this information and then this one came up on Tuesday very near one of the big places we are now watching!!! This is out there around Vancouver Island, Canada and you'll find them on the new list I'm about to post at the end of todays EQ Blog providing not a lot else comes along:

Along with the usual few names on the list of nearby places, you can most benefit from the name of the Capital of British Columbia and the distance this shaker was northwest of there and it appears in the felt report that follows this one single nearby place that I'm going with, added the distance from Vancouver Island, too:

Typhoon LAN made landfall at Japan on October 22, 2017 and I've been so busy with a lot of earthquakes going on that I noticed one or two others listed on the sheet and am going to give them to you right now! With regards to that Vancouver Island earthquake early Tuesday. . . I have to say the name of the town Edmonton appears on my sheet!!! That would be "Edmonton, Alberta, Canada" for folks not all that familiar with that region and I also notice I've written plain and simply "Chicago" on there, too! I'll add that is going to be that whole region and I'll basically take credit for anything Major that shakes around there!!! Philippines, Haiti, Caracas, and Brazil are on the list, too, and there is already a fairly big alert for Peru on a different alert. Finally the line from the globe/straight-line tool comes out at Alaska!!! So, for now watch there and all these places for 6.5 to 7.5 Richters and until I update with more exact town names, just know this big windstorm had winds 130, and gusts 160. So, I might guess there's more than a 4.7 headed for that region of Canada!!! And possibly something heading for Chicago, and Haiti, too!!! Be Watching!!!
