There was a huge "Tornado Outbreak" with 123 tornadoes that struck a lot of different places including Minnesota, Dakotas, Colorado, and Idaho between June 14, and 15, 1992. Many F-4 and F-5 tornadoes were included as a part of all this. THEN, on Day-14 following all the tornadoes the Landers Earthquake on June 28, 1992. The Landers Earthquake of 7.3 Richters was followed about 3 hours later by the 6.5 Big Bear City Earthquake and the next day by a 5.7 Nevada Earthquake and although we're not exactly watching for all that, do know we may be watching there just the same!!! So the current tornado situation from just the last week or so consists of Holiday Beach, Texas on March 29, Near Hattisburg-Lamar County an EF-1 with 95mph Winds and 200 yards wide, One near Tampa on Sunday, April 15 with trees and poles down, an EF-1 at 110mph 17 mile path through Rockingham County North Carolina, and Greensboro there, too, with 37 homes destroyed. And of course the one I mentioned yesterday, EF-3 at Lynchburg, Virgina. That said we'll be watching for earthquakes for now, and I'll have a more detailed prediction soon!!! Good-Weekend!!!
