UPDATE: 6.2 Panama/Costa Rica Earthquake overnight late Tuesday!!! Felt in Jamaica and Bogata, Columbia!!! So, we will need to be watching today-Wednesday for that correlation with 7.8 Ecuador. . . although don't expect a repeat of that big earthquake which followed Cyclone Winston at Fiji, no. Still could be a big California Shaker, though!!!!! NOW your EQ Blog previously written:
Here's one additonal new EQ Blog saying we've got like just one or two days on big alert for California and let's look at all the stuff just now shaking as we try to predict if and when something bigger than Saturdays 5.6 NorCal will shake yet!!! Very important day will be Wednesday from correlation with 7.8 Ecuador Earthquake which followed landfall of Cyclone Winston at Fiji. We'll need to get beyond there before we can relax. . . and then beyond July 1st for this alert to finally end! And meantime something major could still shake!!!!!
By no means more important than the other shaking that I'll get too, but noticed Parkfield shaking and wanted to post THAT series of earthquakes here, too:
1.8 5km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-26 03:26:37
1.6 5km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-26 03:11:39
0.5 11km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-23 06:41:18
2.5 11km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-23 05:17:35
1.1 17km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-19 09:18:59
0.8 5km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-19 08:20:39
2.0 5km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-19 08:06:45
0.5 13km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-18 08:17:09
0.3 13km NW of Parkfield, CA 2019-06-18 06:43:21
So, I will now post these here and unless something really big comes up in the meantime, we'll go on to discuss the fact that the very first earthquake in the recent Offshore Oregon Swarm actually happened at the epicenter of the yet future Petrolia, California Epicenter! This probably means if you consider movement of the tectonic plates consistant with what they might be doing after landfall of Cyclone Foni at Bay of Bengals, then plates first pushed into California, tightened up their fault lines, and then shook Offshore Oregon to the point that the Petrolia Epicenter THEN began to shake especially with the 5.6 we're talking about. Here's first a repeat of the Offshore Oregon list now shown in Central Time that day or those days:
3.1 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 21:12
4.6 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 09:26
3.2 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 09:14
4.7 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 08:40
4.2 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 08:37
4.2 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 08:16
5.4 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 08:00
5.4 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 07:52
5.0 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-22 07:43
4.2 Off the coast of Oregon 2019-06-21 00:23
Now the California list with those FIRST TWO reading up, actually having shook BEFORE any of the above ones!!!!!
1.9 18km N of Shelter Cove, CA 2019-06-24 16:30
3.9 49km W of Petrolia, CA 2019-06-23 17:39:10
5.6 6km SSW of Petrolia, CA 2019-06-22 22:53:02
2.8 5km S of Petrolia, CA 2019-06-22 22:27:31
2.1 12km WNW of Petrolia, CA 2019-06-21 18:49:13
2.6 36km WNW of Petrolia, CA 2019-06-20 23:39:18
I would be talking about the 2.6 Petrolia on June 20, 2019 at 23:39 Universal Time or the very first one on the list directly above here, now. NEXT one in the series would be the 4.2 Offshore Oregon just about ONE HOUR later or so, striking at 00:23 or call that 23 minutes after Midnight with that Petrolia at 21 minutes before the same midnight hour for a total of exactly 44 minutes APART!!! After the very first Offshore Oregon shaker in this series from this weekend, also the Full Moon, then the next one shook California again!!! That would be the 2.1 reading up on June 21 at 18:49. . . THAT was when all the shaking started at Offshore Oregon!!! From that point the next one was the 5.0 on June 22 at 7:43 these times all Central Time, and ALL THE WAY UP THAT LIST!!! All the way to the top and as of this writing FINAL one at Offshore Oregon on June 22, at 21:12!!! No more since then, there anyways and as you can see the 5.6 Petrolia Earthquake struck 1 hour, 41 minutes later at 22:53 although you may have noticed a 2.8 an hour and 15 minutes after the final Offshore Oregon Shaker and 16 minutes before the big 5.6 there!!! Question now is this the San Andreas Fault next, or movement along that lines of the North American Tectonic Plate and then where? Like I said at the beginning of this if nothing else strikes before press time this will be a Great Story!!! However might strike. . . then we'll know for sure!!!
And this one just in early Tuesday, would you look at the list of nearby places for this Hughes Lake small shaker of 2.0 it seems like should have been some felt reports but maybe they'll be coming in later, too?
2.0 - 12km WSW of Lake Hughes, CA
2019-06-25 09:34:02 (UTC) 34.642°N 118.575°W 8.6 km depth
Nearby Places
7.5 Miles WSW of Lake Hughes, CA
10.6 Miles West of Elizabeth Lake, CA
11.2 Miles NNE of Castaic, CA
13 Miles North of Valencia, CA
UPDATE: There was also a number of small earthquakes at our already shaky "Jurupa Valley" Epicenter over Monday Night with these four being most important and all within about a minute or two and beleive me. . . probably still more to come, there, too!!!
1.1 5km NNW of Glen Avon, CA 2019-06-24 22:59:39
1.2 4km NW of Glen Avon, CA 2019-06-24 21:42:32
1.5 5km NNW of Glen Avon, CA 2019-06-24 21:20:09
1.5 4km NW of Glen Avon, CA 2019-06-24 21:15:09
There was also a 2.2 Malibu Earthquake with the usual like 25 felt Reports but most importantly these places where the next big one could strike are shaking so keep watching because it could still be out there, you know!!!
