Hi, EQ Guy Here,Big 4.8 struck Northern Mexico and shook Southern California a good one on Monday on Day 66 of that alert, BUT the much larger alert for Mexico City and Oaxaca continues with Day 43 coming on November 22. . . And THAT is a much bigger alert and for Turkey, too!!! (CUT: Just a coincidence Turkey Day is coming, too!!!) THAT is still a big alert for a Major Earthquake, there!! There was also a rather big 4.1 just to the North west of Seattle/Tacoma on Monday and that alert continues through November, although the Vancouver Islands Region had already gotten most of that shaking we had been expecting. And finally a slight alert for our East Coast and just big enough to remind everybody there is still currently NO Tsunami Alert System for the Atlantic.

HERE'S an update on yesterdays 4.8 Far North Mexico Earthquake felt in SoCal, it looks like about 100 miles east of Tijuana, 30 south of Mexicali, and about 50 Miles Southwest of Yuma, Arizona which would explain LOT of felt reports came in from Yuma!! Here's the USGS Report with list of nearby places and you can compare distance given for San Diego to probably more like East-Southeast of TJ, too:

Other alerts we'll now keep watching as Full Moon Window begins late Wednesday are Day 43 Mexico City/Oaxaca coming on November 22 and full moon could sure be an effect there, too!!! Don't forget Turkey!!!
A few more smaller sized shakers left-over there at south of the border Northern Mexico where the shaking all took place on Monday, but not much else to report right now! Mostly the full moon high over head and the notion that it's liable to mean more shaking. . . OR one of the couple we're still awaiting!!! Just a thought that has come up during the day on Tuesday and as much as I hate to say it sounding like it's all festive and that, but could we get the big Turkey Earthquake we're watching for. . .on "Turkey Day"??? In all cases we're still watching Mexico City and Oaxaca just the same, so until my next edition, happy holidays, everybody!!!
