There was a 3.5 Hemet-Idlywild Earthquake on Sunday there and the final Felt Report on that is 688 Felt Reports Submitted to our USGS!!! Also felt in Wilmington, Long Beach, and Pasadena!!! Along with cities such as Miraposa, Hawthorn, and Reseda up there in the San Fernando Valley, you know!!!
There was a 4.1 and 3.7 within 20 minutes of each other up there at the Anchorage Epicenter Region. . . And I want to update that message now with the fact that a reader SENT that to me last week!!! DOT!!! And not sure if it’s the "Department of Transportation" up there. . . OR if there’s an actual PERSON named Dot!!!??? This epicenter is now much closer to what will someday be the western end of the Knik-Arm Bridge which if it runs due east and west will have it's western end right there near a place called Point Mackenzie or maybe more towards where "Mule Creek" runs into Knik-Arm, there. Also just in a 3.7 actually struck very near there, too and with currently 80 felt reports from Anchorage, although two different versions of the epicenter with one being the east end of that proposed bridge.
Of course I think it goes without saying we're getting A LOT of more snow and continued "Severe Winter Conditions" and you could almost say all across the country with a channel on the TV just reporting they had 6 inches at Nogales, New Mexico, there!!! Yes actually SOUTH of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico!!!!! Those 191 Mile Per Hour winds at Maui are sure to be a factor, too, perhaps even for all those shaky nearby Hawaii places, too!!! As those severe winter conditions continue. . . we'll need to KEEP watching for Major Earthquakes as recent prediction said, into month of March!!! Lots of Ice, lots of snow. . . And LOTS of Earthquakes!!!!! All combined, THAT’S Why My Name is The EQ Guy!!!!!
