Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!  With Hurricane Dora having now passed The Hawaiian Islands and continuing on into the Western Pacific it reminds a great story of a similar big windstorm also passed that very same region of the Pacific back in the year 1994!!!  
-----I’m talking about Hurricane John and the day it struck at nearby Johnston Atoll 7 or 8 hundred miles South of the Big Island of Hawaiii!! And the reason I’m talking about Hurricane John at Johnston Atoll today is due to the fact, not only did Hurricane John continue on and become one of the all time biggest and longest running Hurricane/Slash/Typhoons at 8000 Miles, but with it’s highest winds of 175 Hurricne John made such a significant impact there at Johnston Atoll and as I recall, Hawaii. . . . .brought about one of my very first Major Alerts for the potential for a REALLY Big Earthquake!!!  -----THIS in the days long before any of the electronic social media that we take for granted today!!!  Rather if you were to find one of the several original “EQ Alerts” which I did indeed send out in the days immediately following this landfall at Johnston Atoll, it would be in the form of a letter sent by way of old fashioned “Snail Mail” with a postage stamp and most of these came out in the renascence of my beginning days as an actor sending out my headshots to the agencies in Hollywood!!! Called it “Career Suicide” in those days writing to an agent for a possible big part in a movie, and at the same time predicting a major earthquake!!! That was when the 7.1 Cape Mendocino Earthquake struck Northern California on September 1, 1994.

 Just seen in todays paper the New Moon coming bout 4am tomorrow morning so figure some added pull of the New Moon must have already began around that time Tuesday Morning and will continue on through Wedneday to watch for probably more shaking at around already pretty shaky Frisco!!!!!
