Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!  On July 22 right here! You may recall we talked about a shaker headed for Bogota, Colombia!!!!!  Today I must report to you a 6.3 struck there yesterday!!! One dead. So far 81 felt reports from Bogota about 40 miles away, with lot of big aftershocks and again you heard it first right here, folks!!!!!
-----Hurricane Dora Hawaii same route as Hurricane John struck Johnston Atoll in the days following Northridge 1994.  Very first Major Alert for the potential for a REALLY Big Earthquake!!! That was when the 7.1 Cape Mendocino Earthquake struck Northern California on September 1, 1994.
AND With regards to Hurricane Dora’s high winds, there, Am very sorry for folks involved in fires around Maui, Hawaii, God Bless them. . . . .and a possible alert for some shaking around those islands, now, too, they remain fault lines, there!!! LOTS Of official business and crews working around there right now. . . could add to potential for more shaking, there!
