Here comes the New Moon Las Vegas Super Bowl Shaker!!!!! With the exact moment of the New Moon coming on Friday February 9 at 23:01 UTC and 6:01pm Central Time it turns out this New Moon Window will then be running until late Saturday at the same time.
NOW looks like much of California is getting some RAIN. . . . . and that could increase chances of shakers, especially for the immediate region where all the rain is impregnating all the fault lines out there!!! This could now become where we'll watch for earthquakes as the Las Vegas Super Bowl nears on Sunday although my own personal "New Moon Window" generally runs out 24 hours past the exact moment, with the exact moment late Saturday, even stretching my imagination through Saturday. Seems to leave Vegas out of the picture as far as that game is concerned, but with tons of folks and lot of traffic we'll sure be watching there just the same!
Until then California, Los Angeles, Malibu and up into those mountains seems very, very likely to get some shaking or at best an earthquake of some sore. . . . . and could be a big one!!!!! New Moon Window will start on Thursday so New Moon, and Lot of Rain may just equal earthquakes!!! And lot of traffic and big game in Las Vegas could equal earthquake for Nevada, too!!!!!
