Although that 3.4 Santa Barbara Earthquake might normally have been the biggest story on a day like today, couldn't believe seeing this other big earthquake just offshore from Daytona Beach, Florida!!!

There was also a 3.0 Richters Earthquake at San Simeon and possibly near the epicenter of the Paso Robles Earthquake although I doubt if that has anything to do with it today.

Since it is now press time and I was very busy all day with a "Cast Call" in Chicago as you might have been reading about on my Twitter Page, I want to quick add one final thought. It occurred to me that we might be looking at somewhat of an earthquake approaching the magnitude of the 2004 Great Sumatra Earthquake so I went back and checked on Typhoon Nanmadol which preceded that Major Earthquake. . . and found it was actaully a much smaller typhoon than the one we're concerned about today so I'll have more about that in my upcoming EQ Blogs!!!
