Found this one in my search for something in the way of Big Windstorms that could have preceded the Great 1960 Chile Earthquake and it's name is Typhoon Karen:

Strange how that exact path almost points directly to Southern Chile and that was where the epicenter was!!! Also this typhoon struck exactly 30 days BEFORE that earthquake. So, let us keep on watching lots of places because the 1960 Chile Earthquake has been estimated to have been somewhere in the area of 9.4 and 9.6 Richters!!! EQ Guy
