Could have been a much bigger earthquake there and haven't seen as of yet if there was any word about a tsunami, but out in that region it could happen! Somewhat further south of Santiago than the place we're actually watching, but for sure means there's some significant movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate and it'll keep right on moving as well, for sure! To be exact the USGS Report just arrived in my E-Mail, or arrived earlier anyways, and said that earthquake was 879 Miles South-Southwest of Santiago, Chile so you're up-to-date! Here's what the whole entire current list looks like as of right now, with one update. . . of course it looks like they downgraded that 6.3 atop this list:

With all of the shaking in Chile, and Indonesia I must say those are the two main places where we'll be expecting earthquakes. However it's important to remember movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate and when we travel beyond Sumatra, the Indio/Australian Tectonic Plate, such movement can cover a lot of places up into the Himalayas and beyond over into Afghanistan, Pakistan, Greece, Italy and Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Chad, and all those places in that region! The straight-line goes directly through the places we're watching, but California and our West Coast happen to be among the others that just so happen to be situated along tectonic plate boundaries that could yet be affected by some Major Tectonic Plate Movement so be watching!
