It's all about California shaking today!!!!! Honestly already had the rest of this Edition of EQ Blog ready to go to press with the 3.6 Calipatria Earthquake that now follows all the shaking at San Francisco Bay!!!!! And the small Dana Point Earthquake was once BIG news, too!!! Now take a look at the USGS for Angwin, California just to the Northeast of Santa Rosa and all together maybe 50 miles from San Francisco:
3.4 - 1km E of Angwin, California
2017-07-27 01:36:22 UTC
Nearby Places:
1.2 Miles East of Angwin, California
5.0 Miles NNE of Saint Helena, California
5.6 Miles NNE of St. Helena, California
8.1 Miles East of Calistoga, California
17.4 Miles ENE of Santa Rosa, California
The felt report from this earthquake has been posted at Earthquake Central, so no further explaining needed!!! You may simply view that at: http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2017/07/34-richters-earthquake-struck-angwin.html OR Perhaps "Right Click" the link and click "Open In New Window" so as to leave this EQ Blog open, too for P.C.'s.
I was just wondering if the shaking in Southern California now is connected to all the other shaking and I suppose if were getting a lot of tiny earthquakes there in place of that larger earthquake that was on the schedule to be shaking right about at the same time as all this!!! Now near the Salton Sea!!!

THIS LIST begins where yesterdays list ended. While they are keeping on, there SHOULD be a limit to how far they'll continue if these are in fact related to the New Moon on Sunday! Updating to note the top one actually remains the latest one there even as of early Thursday Morning that last one was around 4 in the afternoon on Wednesday my time! With the New Moon at 4:47am Central Time on July 23, looks like that equals 3 days, 11 hours, and 31 minutes of ADDED PULL from the July New Moon there!!!!!

Now hardly a story with all the rest of the California shaking going on, here's one that struck Dana Point a/k/a Laguna Beach although it shows Laguna Beach just a little more than the same distance from the epicenter here:

AND by any chance is the Mammoth Lakes Swarm slowing??? Here's Wednesday again starting where yesterdays EQ Blog left off:

1.5 6km SSE of Mammoth Lakes, California 2017-07-26 15:25
Due to being sidetracked with all the California shaking I won't have a full explanation for how the Mammoth Lakes shaking might be related to that New Moon, maybe in a future edition of my EQ Blog and for now it does look like Montana could have been connected, though! And Mammoth Lakes has been known to shake with the Full and New Moons, so it seems possible and maybe even similar amount of time as Montana, I'll check and have that maybe tomorrow! In the meantime watch for both of those places to continue shaking!!! New Moon or no New Moon, and still be prepared especially now because all this shaking could also be fore shocks!!! EQ Guy
