I can already see that the next earthquake is saying if nothing else comes in! Well. . . this one came in at 6.6 in Afghanistan and you might like to check out the felt report from it at Earthquake Central: @ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2016/04/66-richters-earthquake-strikes-175.html One dead and 30 injured with at least one pic showing a small amount of damage to one building there.
This first one if nothing even bigger comes in, is just 150 Miles South of Riobamba, Ecuador!!! Haven't yet figured out how to say the name that USGS is giving it:
4.9 - 78km SE of Yantzaza, Ecuador
Time
2016-04-09 02:15
Nearby Places
48.5 Miles SE of Yantzaza, Ecuador
53.4 Miles ESE of Zamora, Ecuador
277.8 Miles S of Quito, Ecuador
So that seems to all be happening along the "Colombian Trench" and the "Ecuadorian Trench" as far as the formal names given to those places and getting a lot more of those at about every moment right now up to about three big ones there including North, South, and West of those town names I've been giving so keep watching there because there was also an Easter Island Earthquake and those tend to also precede big South America Shakers!!!
Well your pretty much up to date on the biggest shakers, now let's take a moment for some Good News-Bad News "Earthquake Minute"!!! CLICK Arrow To View:

I just happened to be on the USGS website over the weekend and happened to notice where it gives the big running list of ALL the very biggest most recent earthquakes . . . .. and could hardly believe it when I looked and saw these following 3 and ALL at Vanuatu!!! Yes, even as of right now you can check the list and these are still the biggest most recent earthquakes in the world:
6.7 Richters, 106km W of Sola, Vanuatu, 2016-04-07 03:32am CDT
6.7 Richters, 105km WSW of Sola, Vanuatu, 2016-04-06 06:58am CDT
6.9 Richters, 81km NNW of Port-Olry, Vanuatu, 2016-04-03 08:23am CDT
This was the big news early Friday Morning but hardly worth an update due to being just a little on the small side you know: IT TURNS OUT this was not the big earthquake there! Another 2.7 must have struck at some other point and it was tough to discern the difference between the two so here's the 2.2:
2.2 - 12km WNW of Malibu, CA
Time
2016-04-08 10:12am Central Time
Nearby Places
7.5 Miles WNW of Malibu, CA
8.7 Miles SW of Westlake Village, CA
8.7 mi) SSW of Thousand Oaks, CA
Felt Report from the 2.2 was a bit more simple:
City..........State.Zip...........USA..............................#.....Km
Newbury Park, CA 91320 United States of America...8.....17 km
Camarillo, CA 93012 United States of America......5.....22 km
Moving Right To The 2.7:
Malibu, CA 90265 United States of America...........3....17 km
Newbury Park, CA 91320 United States of America.....45...18 km
Westlake Village, CA 91361 United States of America.10...18 km
Thousand Oaks, CA 91362 United States of America....1....22 km
Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 United States of America....6....23 km
Camarillo, CA 93012 United States of America........2....23 km
Canyon Country, CA 91351 United States of America...1....60 km
This is the list of ALL the earthquakes there, that formed when I zoomed-out:
2.3 12km NW of Malibu, CA 2016-04-08 10:12:20
2.7 11km WNW of Malibu, CA 2016-04-08 09:11:14
2.2 12km NW of Malibu, CA 2016-04-08 09:10:14
1.3 7km S of Westlake Village, CA 2016-04-06 19:10:53
3.5 12km SW of Port Hueneme, CA 2016-04-06 06:44:20
Part of the difference is the 2.7 hit around 8am Central, 7am Pacific making lots more people feel it and file reports! There was a lot of other shaking including like a 5.7 Alaska Earthquake on Sunday, but looks like it all means there is certainly still some major shaking out there and so we will keep watching! Day 52 will be on April 12, and if nothing else we'll need to keep watching around the Pacific at least through Day 60 on April 20!!! EQ Guy
There's a lot of my very best earthquake stuff in My E-Book, "Bringing Earthquakes To Life" @ http://www.eqalert2.blogspot.com Thank-You For Reading!!! EQ Guy
