There has been a lot of earthquakes in the Mexico Region, although having scrolled back through them revealed the dates include yesterday, Monday, and all the way back to like Friday and Saturday and there isn't really that much urgency when all taken into consideration there. Sure lots of earthquakes and all but one in the 4 range, unless you consider it could just be the basic movement of the Pacific we're already watching just coming to fruition in Mexico and not California! Keep watching though, because it's a close one and California is right there so very near that edge that anything could still happen there!
A little bit shaken about this most recent shaker at Ecuador! No matter what the town names are saying on most and probably all the Ecuador shakers, they all pretty much seem to be basically the same epicenter just near shore along that "Ecuador Trench" just offshore there. Here's one that shook late on Tuesday:
5.3 - 55km NW of Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador
Time
2016-04-26 16:58pm Central Time
Nearby Places
34 Miles NW of Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador
49 Miles N of Manta, Ecuador
51 Miles NW of Tosagua, Ecuador
51.6 Miles NNW of Rocafuerte, Ecuador
153 Miles W of Quito, Ecuador
Not a lot else going on so here's one more chance to view this weeks "Earthquake Minute" CLICK Arrow: OR You Can Always WATCH at YouTube@ https://youtu.be/-EMUNGmBk_0 AND Transcript is @ http://earthquakealert3.blogspot.com/2016/04/9-for-9-x-prize-earthquake-minute-of.html
Not sure what all the shaking is all about at this lookingly very shaky North Carolina epicenter. Appears they all took place over about the whole day on Tuesday along with one or two others in that region but as far as I know there shouldn't be any alerts there? It is possible there has been tornado's touching down in the past day or two that I should look closer into and see if any of them have had serious windspeeds because that could have something to do with all these small earthquakes at North Carolina:
1.7 5km NNW of Weaverville, North Carolina 2016-04-26 16:26:33
1.4 5km NNW of Weaverville, North Carolina 2016-04-26 15:39:08
1.9 5km NNW of Weaverville, North Carolina 2016-04-26 09:15:26
1.9 5km NNW of Weaverville, North Carolina 2016-04-26 04:24:16
1.1 5km NNW of Weaverville, North Carolina 2016-04-26 04:06:38
2.0 5km NNW of Weaverville, North Carolina 2016-04-26 00:28:47
If that's the case, and I seem to recall seeing somewhere Nebraska had some tornado activity! Might also explain these two at Fillmore, but of course my regular readers probably already know it takes quite a lot of wind to bring about an alert. . . but it's possible with Tornado Season coming. AND seen Jim Cantore on TV on Tuesday, too, methinks Oklahoma awaiting some big windstorms! Here's those two Fillmore Earthquakes:
2.2 6km N of Fillmore, CA 2016-04-26 14:08:42
2.4 7km N of Fillmore, CA 2016-04-26 13:36:36
The start of Tornado Season could mean the start for a small Earthquake Season since right there in Jims Neighborhood a few years ago at El Reno, Oklahoma was landfall of a big tornado that led me to a big EQ Alert for Antigua/Barbuda Islands in the Caribbean. . . followed by a big earthquake near Antigua/Barbuda Islands in the Caribbean!!! Watch for more earthquakes to follow more Big Tornadoes if they start to touch-down and starting right now if tornadoes have already touched-down! EQ Guy
