Very early today I had an appointment in my nearby major city and just late yesterday (Wednesday) finished putting a new timing chain in my 2.2 Ecotech 4 Cylinder 2004 Malibu. . . but had no problem driving it into the city today! Upon just getting home a few hours ago discovered LOTS of earthquakes have been shaking and will need some time to put that whole story together for you all, but right now here's the brief details:
There were quite a lot of earthquakes at South of Japan including a 6.0 and 6.2 and felt reports coming in from all around that country! Details coming in Fridays EQ Blog!
There has also been now a number of Vanuatu Earthquakes and especially now a 6.0, and a 6.4 that just came in late today!
Here is the latest information already posted in this EQ Blog that did not get published due to me being so busy and all in all may not have been all that important, too. Just that there was a lot of shaking and all in Missouri, Tennessee, and Georgia followed by a piece in my recent bulletin that discusses exactly that! The 1886 Charleston Earthquake:

2.2 4km WSW of Trion, Georgia 2016-04-13 06:37:14
1.9 5km WSW of Steele, Missouri 2016-04-13 04:48:55
1.6 10km SSE of Ridgely, Tennessee 2016-04-13 04:08:00
2.5 15km E of Benton, Tennessee 2016-04-12 08:15:25
2.2 8km SW of Charleston, Missouri 2016-04-12 02:07:34
1.7 5km NNE of Greenback, Tennessee 2016-04-11 04:20:26
1.6 3km S of Steele, Missouri 2016-04-08 08:20:55

Courtesy of Bulletin of Seismology: "An eight‐station seismic network was installed in August 2011 in the epicentral area of the 1886 Charleston, South Carolina, earthquake, within and near the town of Summerville. The network operated for one year and located 134 earthquakes. Many of the earthquakes are concentrated in the 2–6.5 km depth range, near shallow faults imaged on seismic‐reflection profiles adjacent to the Ashley River. The seismicity near Summerville has characteristics in common with the aftershock sequence of the 23 August 2011 Mineral, Virginia, earthquake. We interpret these results to indicate that the modern seismicity is the lingering aftershock sequence of the 1886 shock."
There has also been a small earthquake in Ecuador that looks like it might be less than 100 miles East of Riobamba, Ecuador!!! Sorry this is being posted late in the day on Thursday and I'm also presently working on a Friday EQ Blog. . . as well as a possible upcoming "Earthquake Minute"!!! Stay-Tuned!!! EQ Guy
There's a lot of my very best earthquake stuff in My E-Book, "Bringing Earthquakes To Life" @ http://www.eqalert2.blogspot.com Thank-You For Reading!!! EQ Guy
