Todays Top Story Is The Halemaumau Crater at Mt. Kilauea In Hawaii GROWING!!! Now at One Mile Across!!! Also a 4.7 Richters Earthquake Struck Nepal With Some Felt Reports From Kathmandu!!!

The Halemaumau Crater at Hawaii's Mt. Kilauea Volcano seems to be growing in size dramatically!!! Word is that it's very nearly at ONE MILE across!!! With the depth being reported at 1300 Feet and it's unknown how big this thing could get!!! COULD this be what's been going on with all the "Volcanic Explosions" there? And are those explosions why all the land in a concentric circle around this big crater is subsiding now deep into the big crater. . . continueing to keep on making it bigger ROUND!? The latest count of the number of earthquakes at Mt. Kilauea was totaled at 762 all sized as of daytime on Thursday with those 2.5 and bigger at 421 there at 10:30am Central Time and well within the June Full Moon Window, too, and the 5.3 "Volcanic Explosion" didn't shake until 9:45am on Thursday or the next day after we were watching for it late Wednesday knowing it might be getting later and later! Actually missed one day from when it had shook every day!!! Now here's the USGS Report on that one with the one that follows being who knows when, probably into the day on Friday my time, Central Time:

5.3 Volcanic Eruption - 5km WSW of Volcano, Hawaii
2018-06-28 14:48:50 UTC 19.412°N 155.286°W 0.2 km depth

And now the disclaimer that came along with it: "This earthquake was associated with a minor explosion and rockfall that occurred around 4:48 AM Thursday, June 28th local time from Halema'uma'u crater. Only very weak emissions were observed at low levels above the crater."

THIS might be an upcoming earthquake and it just might also be garden variety shaking at Texas. . . but IS directly along the line we're watching so could go as big as a 6.5 there, probably more likely a 4 or 5 coming, and virtually certain to strike at nearby Mexico in the coming days, too!!!

You can surely tell by the numbers it certainly DID have its effect on the Mt. Kilauea Volcano and could do more there, yet!!! More Greece Earthquakes In Addition To The Two In Yesterdays EQ Blog!!! Full Moon Window Already Started Now on Late Tuesday Night at 11:57pm Central Time, So Let's Be Watching!!! UPDATE: "Volcanic Explosion" Came In At 3:40am Central Time. . .

UPDATE: Much of todays blog will talk about the fact that the "Volcanic Explosion" at Mt. Kilauea, Hawaii, HAD NOT come in prior to press time late Tuesday. As of morning it did, however eventually come in at 3:40am Central Time and the entire update will be in next edition. Now here's Wednesdays already written and posted EQ Blog:

Starting off todays edition. . . that now regular usual "Volcanic Explosion" at Mt. Kilauea HAD NOT happened as of the early moments of Wednesday and would have been expected at it's usual time of about a couple hours before Midnight Central Time!!!!! That doesn't mean it won't happen just moments after this edition goes to press, but if so I'll try and update! Otherwise we're currently looking at 692 earthquakes there all day and 399 at 2.5 and bigger. Now my current predictions were for last Wednesday at 10pm CDT, and it hit at 10:05:32 or I was 5 Minutes and 32 Seconds off, and yesterdays posted at 9:59 and hit at 10:02:44, or I was 3 Minutes and 44 seconds off, there! And the reason I said no more of those is because of the one tonight. . .that DOESN'T seem to have been shaking!!! THAT would throw my math WAY OFF!!!

Now in addition to the two yesterday at Greece, and those were a 5.5 Methoni, Greece, and a 4.1 Gerakarou, Greece and this one today or at about 8pm Central Time Tuesday Night is sort of in between those telling me something MORE just might happen over in that region. . . maybe soon like with the added pull of the full moon:

Another Great "Prediction"!!! STRUCK Just 3 Minutes After My Twitter Message, Too!!! NOW Two Earthquakes Have Struck At Greece on Monday!!!!! One To The North There, The Other To The Far South There!

While I was watching right up to the final moments for Mondays Big Mt. Kilauea "Volcanic Explosion" I sent out a couple "Twitter Messages" along those lines!!!!! MOST Notably this one at 9:59pm Central Time:

Well, that was when I went on to do something else completely different. . . and when I returned a short time later, I found THIS posted on the list of the latest Hawaii Earthquakes!!!!!

And that Disclaimer showing the local time, there: "This earthquake was associated with a minor explosion and rockfall that occurred around 5:02 PM Monday, June 25th local time from Halema'uma'u crater. Only very weak emissions were observed at low levels above the crater."

THAT was 10:02pm my time, Central Time and just 3 MINUTES after I "Predicted" one would be SHAKING THERE!!!!! Again, I could probably never duplicate something like that, but damn that was close to naming the exact time which I suppose I might now have to try at some point, someday! But, I prefer to just take those as they come such as that one did on Monday Night as I was writing this edition!!! Try that again some other day, have to work tomorrow, so if they continue to shake like that, I'll probably try something, again, someday!!!

Since we discussed those "Volcanic Explosions" last week and especially now the fact that up to this point they HAD been shaking on quite a regular schedule. . . this weekend turned out to be JUST THAT!!! Even after having announced it on-the-air on Fridays Show as you can check out here, too, THAT one which hadn't happened at the time we were doing the show, but eventually DID strike there at Mt. Kilauea just a few minutes before midnight!!! Amazing 771 Earthquakes Seem To Have Struck at That Hawaii Volcano Region on the Summer Solstice on Thursday!!! AND Also Amazing The Now Usual "Volcanic Explosion" Didn't Strike There Until Much Later in The Day on Thursday!!!

This just in late on Thursday, I just found a current Grand Total of 771 Earthquakes at Hawaii, with the 2.5 and higher at 508!!!

Further, I'd been watching Hawaii all day long for that now pretty usual "Volcanic Explosion". . . and it remarkably didn't show up until late in the day Thursday! That after having been in the morning hours so much of the time and enabling me to make that GREAT "Prediction," too!!! Later I'll discuss the possible connection to the "Summer Solstice"

So, that Summer Solstice DID strike at exactly 5:07 a.m. my time on Thursday and there were many earthquakes at Mt. Kilauea as you probably about know for sure by now. How or exactly IF there's much of a relationship with the solstice will take some time and much more accurate scientific observations than just me perusing the list of latest earthquakes and saying, OH it looks like a LOT of them, there, at about that time!!! On the other hand it was also the date when the "Volcanic Explosion" never came in the morning like the vast majority of them have been doing. . . twas the day it didn't even happen until a quarter after six my time and about 1:15pm Hawaii Time!!! Rather late for sure although one or two others out of that now really long list have also happened at some odd hours, too. THAT'S what we'll mostly be watching for over this weekend, to see which way they'll shake in the coming days and maybe yet another great prediction of that sort into next week!!!

Meanwhile Chicago, Illinois, Indiana, and New Madrid are about to shake, and that "Official Prediction" for June 24 is Sunday. . . and the Full Moon this week, too, on Wednesday!!! Be Watching For All That Shaking!!! And Have a Great Weekend, too!!!

It had been thought that it was the day the world ceased turning north such as the result of it being the LONGEST DAY. Now, however I beleive I've seen some tiny results of the exact moment and so let us watch Thursday and see what will happen with earthquakes? I'll watch as that exact moment arrives. . . and passes to see if and when anything shakes and looks like it's associated with the solstice. Something at that exact moment would be a clue, so let's be watching!!! AND see what effect "Summer Solstice" might have on Mt. Kilauea, too!!!

Yesterdays Now GREAT "Earthquake Prediction" Actually HAPPENED!!! Right Exactly On The Spot Predicted. . . AND Just 5 Minutes Off From The Time I Had Predicted, Too!!!!! Should I Dare Try That One More Time!?

YOU saw it right here yesterday!!! That now GREAT "Earthquake Prediction" that you'll recall I made for a 5.3 on the Richter Scale to strike Mt. Kilauea Volcano at 10am on Tuesday or 5am Hawaii time! Incredibly IT HAPPENED!!! Yes, just 5 minutes after my prediction of 5am their time. . . this one struck at 5:05 am their time!!! And got the epicenter EXACTLY RIGHT!!! I notice the distance to "Pitcairn Island" there where they landed the ship "Bounty" in Mutinay on the Bounty and many of them lived there, while their decendents still today make up much of the population of that island!!! All of that said. . . I might as well just give my prediction for TUESDAY right now!!! Let's see, they've been striking about every single day, so I'll say a 5.3 on the Richter Scale will strike at the Mt. Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii on or about 10:00am Central Time and that will be about 5am Hawaii Time as far as figuring out how close my prediction is, if and when it happens!!! AND it sure appears like it WILL be happening on Tuesday!!! Be Watching There!!!

Volcanic Explosions at Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii Are The Big News Right Now!!! They Seem To Be Coming In About Every Day, Now. . . For Whatever Reason, There!!! At Press Time a 6.1 Japan Earthquake!!!

Yes, there is right at the moment, one of these big "Volcanic Explosions" for every day of the week there at Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii. Todays edition had started out with the one that will now follow as you'll see by the dialogue that I'd already written, now here's one brand-new one that came in on Sunday!!!!!

Of Course the Disclaimer, too!!! "This earthquake was associated with an ash explosion that occurred around 6:26 AM Sunday, June 17th local time from Halema'uma'u crater. The plume extended to about 5,000 ft above sea level and drifted southwest with possible ashfall at downwind locations."

NOW. . .Here's another and it was the point at which I determined these "Volcanic Explosions" seem to be happening at the rate of about ONE EVERY DAY, there at Hawaii at Mt. Kilauea Volcano! Here's one that came in during the day on Saturday:

This volcanic explosion came in right there while I was in the studio and doing my show on Friday!!! Could hardly beleive they were shaking so much there. . . AND this besides:

Added Pull Of The June New Moon at Mt. Kilauea Volcano!!

Looks like the activity at Mt. Kilauea and Hawaii that had been very, very high going into Friday, was just hours beyond MY theory on how the added pull of the full and new moons actually works!!! Yes, I will normally end my calculations at 24 before and after, but mostly for calculating and adding purposes, you understand. The added pull does not necessarilly stop at 24 hours as was the case on Friday when 24 hours after actually concluded at 2:43pm Thursday Afternoon, but we do know it for a fact that the added pull certainly DOES continue at least a few hours beyond that and on Friday Hawaii was counting at over 700 Earthquakes in 24 Hours, but even upwards of 2 or 300 at 2.5 and bigger, too! That must have gone on into Friday Evening and was back at around 5 or 600 by Saturday Morning as my notes state. Or about 2, or 2 1/2 days after that Exact Moment, there!

Finally this just happened at press time, although some difficulty finding it due to also now upwards of 600 Earthquakes at Hawaii you know! I'll have lots more info on this in upcoming edition right now currently 360 felt reports including 66 from Osaka at 14 Kilometers from the epicenter and this must have been downgraded because USGS is reporting it as a 5.3 and explains why it did not ring my phone as a text message even though must have happened at around 6pm Sunday Night Central Time, my time. Late Wednesday It Looked Like Upwards Now of 672 Earthquakes Had Struck Hawaii at Mt. Kiluea Volcano!!! LOTS Of Those Earthquakes Struck Within 10 Minutes of Exact Moment of The June New Moon, Too!!!!!

NEW MOON HAS STRUCK AT HAWAII ON WEDNESDAY!!!!! 672 Earthquakes in 24 Hour Period, There!!!!! 207 at 2.5 and Higher!!! That compared to earlier in the day the total was at 476 with 196 at 2.5 and up Early Wednesday. And here's the latest "Volcanic Eruption" Earthquake, too:

Hurricane Bud was in the process of nearing landfall at Baja California Penninsula on Wednesday, and so that will mean more chance of California Shaking! Which is still a huge number and probably means something going on but will have to keep watching to know for sure. For now I think it's safe to say the June New Moon IS certainly having it's affect on Hawaii!!!

Yemen Got a 4.8 Richters Earthquake at Same Exact Straight-Line as Severe Tropical Cyclone Mekunu Tracked There on May 25!!! NOW We Can Count On Some Big Earthquakes To Be Following!!! And Now is New Moon, Too!!!!!

Whenever I go to follow a potential source of earthquake energy one of the things I watch for is an earthquake to strike right at or often very near that landfall. Here's a sort of illustration of just that!!! On the right the drawing of landfall of Severe Tropical Cyclone Mekunu at Yemen on May 25, 2018, on the left epicenter of the 4.8 Yemen Earthquake of Monday and that USGS Report follows, too:

This also indicates we are probably now surely looking at all of a 4.8 somewhere around Canada, Chicago, Illinois or New Madrid! That is if it follows the line religiously. . . of course New York and Washington, DC aren't too far off from this straight line when it reaches the other side of the world, you know!!! Here's a look at that USGS Report and a few people who were in that big Cyclone Mekunu must have also been in this earthquake although USGS didn't receive any felt reports:

In the last 24 hours before press time today, Hawaii's Mt. Kilauea Volcano had a total of all earthquakes there of 441, with those 2.5 and higher at 142. So, I checked my sheet to find that all the earthquake energy there related to landfall of Cyclone Nora at Queensland, Australia will have now concluded. . .albeit any remaining possible seismic energy from that big landfall. We'll know soon because that only leaves a big tornado that struck Lynchburg, Virginia, unless any of these other possible sources such as Hurricane Bud currently about to make landfall at the Baja California Penninsula. That will certainly also now affect the next subject today, shaking at Los Angeles Region and of course the New Moon Wednesday will have some effect there, too:

This one must have just came in because I've been watching this region very closely and so note the time is in Universal Time so subtract 5 hours for Central, and 7 hours for Pacific. . . and see what time the shaking took place in Albania on Tuesday. 8:50pm Central, 6:50pm Pacific and notice time given is actually early morning hours of Wednesday so it may have been Wednesday there, too:

Suddenly Lots of Shaking at San Francisco Bay Region and Could New Moon Window Already Be a Factor in All This Shaking!!! Also Now YEMEN Shaking!!! Right There Near Center of Landfall There!!!

At press time there is a lot of shaking coming in and with the New Moon coming it will all have to be continued in next edition!!! For right now these just came in at San Francisco Bay and biggest near 300 felt reports which will show-up here somewhere at some point:

Several More "Volcanic Explosions" at Mt. Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii Over This Weekend!!! Now Tons of Shaking At Around Los Angeles, There, Too!!! Greece and Turkey Shaking, Too!!!!!

Late Friday Night I discovered the total number of earthquakes at the Mt. Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii to be at 473 or again, now, very close to 500, with those at 2.5 and bigger numbering 136 there. Saturday upon checking realized those numbers to be 455-159 and I suppose it's possible this explains what my first story today is all about. . . and that's several more of those "Volcanic Explosions" there!!!!!

Here's The Map of The Places Where That Next Big Illinois Earthquake Just Might Strike!!! New Moon and Day 19 Both Coming This Week, Too!!! Double-Whammy!!!!!

Here's the drawing I've been working on showing exactly where the "Straight-Line" crosses the South Chicago Suburbs!!! Yes, this is about where I might expect the next big Illinois-Chicago Region Earthquake to strike, although keep in mind the line does continue onto plenty of other places where Illinois also likes to shake! And goes on more towards New Madrid Region, too:

Day-19 after the landfall of Typhoon Consone at Japan was the day when the big Ottawa, Illinois Earthquake struck with about 8000 felt reports from all over that many state area! I'm running this next pic due to just having rerun THAT line and would you look how close it came as well:

When I just now checked around the Los Angeles Region to see if there was any shaking to report, found some good ones and it also occurred to me they have now been shaking real good there about the whole week!!! That was when I decided just to go back and post the whole week!!! And pretty sure this week was a whole lot more than usual for around the L.A. Region, too:
