World Series Game 6 Heads To LOS ANGELES!!! As We Continue To Watch For a Major Earthquake. . . COULD We Still See a 2017 World Series Earthquake??? Los Angeles? San Francisco While Game is in L.A.??? Be Watching For Earthquake!!! And Go Dodgers!!!!!

As we continue to watch especially around California, there has been some other places getting Major Shaking on Monday and so I want to say as a result of all that we probably know for sure something is still out there, folks!!! 6.8 is a big earthquake and when even the Pacific Islands gets one so big, we must be aware of so much seismic energy and the possibility it could push across the Pacific. . . and strike around us somewhere!!!

But Central and South America could also get about the same amount. . .only they are in the wake of those hurricanes:

World Series Game 6 will be played in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday Night!!! You might recall we are watching for this earthquake right now. . . and have referred to it as 2017 World Series Earthquake! Although don't expect this one to happen while the game is being played there!!!!! NOR while Game 7, if needed, is also played at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles!!! But do be watching and be aware Day 43 will be here when we get to the "Early Morning Hours" of November 2, but Day 42 will be here late on the night of October 31, 2017 or Tuesday!!! Small 2.6 Richters Texas Earthquake Struck DURING The World Series Game There Sunday Night!!! Although 4 or 500 MIles West of Houston!!! Small One Struck VERY CLOSE To Dodger Stadium on Saturday!!!

This was the earthquake that struck near Dodgers Stadium early on Saturday and I have a good pic of the illustration, too! Look at the list of nearby places and I must tell you I recognized it right away by the fact that it's like a mile west of South Pasadena!!! That's kind of a small neighborhood there. . . but it's also sounds like close to Dodger Stadium, too:

Big, Big Earthquakes ARE Now Shaking!!!!! Be Prepared For a BIG San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Santa Barbara Region Earthquake!!! COULD Also Still Strike That CalNev Region, Too!!!

As this edition goes to press there seems to be quite a lot of shaking around pretty much all of California and there's no telling if there will be a big one there at any moment!!! In the event of a huge Major Earthquake I'm sorry in advance for possibly not being able to have an update fast enough to help out all of those who might wish for more information due to this basically being a blog and I tend to get to it when time permits and please do not consider it a source of timely information such as if ONE OF THESE Offshore Earthquakes produces a Tsunami that could strike Los Angeles. . . I might not even hear about it until it is all over! That region just might wind up being one of those where a thousand foot tsunami might strike (Someday) and the waves in such an event could reach Palmdale and probably not Barstow but it could happen, just saying. Be mostly watching for a Big Earthquake because all these areas do have a potential Great Earthquake that could be headed for California!!! Lots of Earthquakes Currently Striking Around Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, And Near Catalina Island!!! COULD Be Fore Shocks of Something Major!!!!! Be Watching/Be Prepared!!!!!

There was a 4.5 just Offshore from Santa Barbara, and just this moment that now shaky Catalina Island Region was struck by about a 3.5 Richters Earthquake and this has all happened in about the last couple hours!! The felt report from the "Lompoc/Santa Barbara" Earthquake was at 1700 moments ago when I checked it with it being felt in Bakersfield and Los Angeles. . . and JUST NOW the 3.5 Avalon Earthquake came in and I must say there had also been an earlier Catalina Island Earthquake earlier this week and so I'm quick writing this to say there could be more!!!!! There was also a small earthquake up around San Jose earlier today so San Francisco Bay just COULD get something, too!!! I just noticed while posting those Ecuador Earthquakes that one of the "Latitudes" was something like a ZERO point one or if it was me measureing around Wisconsin that would work out to hardly little more than a few feet from the EQUATOR there!!! Because less than a "Minute" which is what the zero probably is, usually means somewhere basically on the same lot or about the same acre depending on the longitude. You can even see it in the headline for that felt report!!! See the "0.096 S." That would appear to be extremely close to the equator! I'll have to recheck that and have it in a later EQ Blog!!! This Upcoming Potential Major San Francisco-Northern California Earthquake Could Spell DOOM For a Lot of Folks Up There In That NorCal Region!!! Very Sorry For Whomever Shakes There!!!!! And Of Course, GO DODGERS!!!!! Update: 3.9 Catalina Island Early Tuesday. . .

UPDATE: Phone rang just past 2am here, just past midnight Pacific Time with a good sized 3.9 that struck about 25 miles West of Catalina Island out there in the "Gulf of Catalina" west of Long Beach there!!! I'll be watching for more than the 58 felt reports currently and have an update tomorrow or next EQ Blog, until then the big one COULD BE NEXT, you know!!!!! Now todays previously written EQ Blog:

In the process of preparing the new Earthquake Video Log today that I went on to decide to call it a Video Earthquake Minute. . . biggest problem was what to say or how to tell these people so big of an earthquake is getting closer and closer and looking more and more inevitable. That was when I came up with the phrase "It could spell DOOM for San Francisco and Northern California"!!! To be honest this is what I'm trying to say albeit in a nice way, you know! We could very well right now be talking about the big one!!! The one California has been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for and all along knowing full well it's coming. . . some day! Lots of Shaking at San Francisco, And Los Angeles!!! Might Be Longer For This Big Northern California Earthquake, Than For The 1989 San Francisco-World Series Earthquake!!! Need To Keep Watching a While There, Yet!!!

BOTH of these next two stories unless a bigger earthquake strikes late Sunday, both of my first two stories are shaking at San Francisco, and Los Angeles!!! And I'm here to tell you the World Series will begin in Los Angeles on Tuesday Night!!! Watch now for a 2017 World Series Earthquake. . . although probably not going to be striking DURING the game like 1989 did!!! Also must add I've recalculated the distance between Charleston where Hurricane Hugo made landfall leading to 1989 World Series Earthquake. . . and distance from Hurricane Maria landfall at Puerto Rico where they are located 3775 Miles from Frisco!!! Charleston is 2600 Miles or a whole thousand miles closer and Puerto Rico is on a different Tectonic Plate all together, too, the Caribbean Tectonic Plate! Therefore we will continue to watch, but this one COULD be a few more days waiting due to a now farther distance, and crossing a tectonic plate boundary! Actually more like "Katrina-Islamabad" where potential Earthquake Energy crossed plate boundaries and was around Day 42 albeit with upwards of 90,000 dead!!!

Didn't exactly DO that Great Shakeout today, myself, but spent a considerable amount of time following all the action on Twitter and elsewhere, although I never actually seen where the folks at Twitter did it, either, nor the Governor of California whom was tweeting other stuff during that time. . . not to say he and HIS office didn't duck, cover, and hold for 5 or 10 seconds there, too! Beleiving it all to be GREAT Earthquake Preparation news, I want to add we should probably do that a lot more OFTEN!!! Reminds me of a lot of FIRE DRILLS we used to have in school and those used to be quite common, didn't they? Probably should now be ditto with Earthquake Drills such as the Great Shakeout now!!!

New Moon Window will still keep on running into Friday and several of these big alerts will continue until the end of October and those alerts as the result of the landfall of Hurricane Maria at Puerto Rico Day 60 comes in Mid-November and that includes the big alert for San Francisco!!! So, we'll be still waiting a while to see if Frisco and/or Japan get this one!!! Be Watching for that!!!

Anniversary of The World Series Quake-Loma Prieta Earthquake is Tuesday!!! Also More Small Shakers Around Los Angeles, And San Francisco as October New Moon Window Begins Soon!!!

It will be later on in the day on Tuesday when the actual Anniversary of the exact moment of the World Series Earthquake is, but right now the big deal is the fact that we're awaiting another big shaker there. . . at San Francisco!!! Question is how close to this date, and that exact moment could this happen!? My best story about that earthquake is the fact that I hadn't started my work yet in 1989 and so the story comes from the fact that it was one of the reining big ones that first came to my attention the day of the Northridge Earthquake of just a few years later when I started going all through previous earthquakes in an effort to try and figure out what might have caused them. Not sure if this was the one I first connected, or if I compared facts gathered from a lot of other earthquakes, but I do know for sure I was looking at the map of this one when I made my big discovery!!!!! Here's a story about a lot of shaking near Bakersfield that was once called one big Earthquake Swarm there, but I was unable to find anything about it besides this: "4.7 Earthquake Shakes the Mettler Area on Friday, September 23, 2005. A moderate 4.7 earthquake shook the Mettler California area on September 22. The quake was felt as far away as Orange County to the South and Fresno to the North. The quake caused minor merchandise damage to some local shops, but no injuries were reported. A 3.4 foreshock preceded the 4.7 mainshock by forty-four seconds. Eight aftershocks above 3.0 were recorded within 14 hours. In 1952 the Kern County 7.5 Quake was centered less than five miles from the location of this quake."

FOUND a small example of what I'm talking about here that shook AFTER Landfall of Hurricane Katrina on August 25, 2005. . . and BEFORE the Great Islamabad Earthquake on October 7, 2005. This "Swarm" would have struck at California on Day 28, with that great earthquake following on Day 43:

This one stood out when I saw it because it is almost an exact match for a time I happened to have written down that I felt some shaking under my feet here in Wisconsin! Although probably not the same shaking as is reported here out in Washington, it always makes me wonder if the two are connected?

Added pull of the new moon will be having a really bad affect on a lot of those already shaky places we're watching and especially Northern California and San Francisco and so watch there!!! And Los Angeles Dodgers will head to Chicago for Game 3 with TWO WINS!!!!! Go Dodgers!!!

Keep Watching San Francisco Bay Area, Silicone Valley, Northern Calfornia Region, And CalNev Region For as Big as 7.7 Richters Major Earthquake!!! And a 5.5 Richters Earthquake Struck Argentina!!!

This first one doesn't exactly say a Major Earthquake is coming to Northern California, but there IS one heading in that general direction right now!!! This town is about 30 miles East of San Francisco/Oakland:

I'll have to watch this one to keep up with all the shaking that took place there early Thursday. This epicenter is much closer to Mount Adams than Mount St. Helens which appears in the list of nearby places, except I can't say I've heard of Mount Adams there. There have occasionally been earthquakes such as these in the far reaches of the state of Washington. . . and could indicate a big one for Northern California or that entire region soon, too:

6.3 Richters Earthquake Struck 43 Miles East of Arica, Chile!!!!! IF Any of Those 6 Magnitude Earthquakes Ever Strike a Heavily Populated Region That Will Be a Very Bad Earthquake!!!

This was a fairly big earthquake and a report had the depth at around 50 miles and indicates there may not have been too much damage or injuries. Apparently far enough from population, too:

Monday Night There Was a 4.4 Richters San Francisco Bay Region Earthquake 10 Miles East of San Jose at Alum Rock!!! Downgraded To a 4.1 Now!!! Be Watching That Region For More!!!

Maybe as you go on to read all the rest of todays EQ Blog it will make sense that they just had this rather big 4.1 Richters Earthquake about 80 Miles South of San Francisco, and 11 Miles East of San Jose so for now let me just say watch for more because it's also very near where we are watching for that Major one!!! I know there are a lot of followers in this now again very shaky Ecuador and am sorry to have to report they might be getting the next Major Earthquake there very soon!!! The number one reason I am saying that is because places tend to have Major Earthquakes just down the road from big Major Earthquakes and they call those "After Shocks" so you might say we are now watching Ecuador for a big "After Shock" of that 2016 Earthquake there, but I must simply say watch for a big earthquake!!!
