Prior to sending todays EQ Blog to press, I checked to see what I could find for wind speeds from the latest on Windstorm Harvey as they had been saying most recently it will soon become a non-windstorm or whatever the words they used to indicate it will lose "Tropical Depression" status. Here's the most recent numbers I have and want to note they are saying it will either lose its vortex, or something along that lines very soon beyond this blog going to press early Friday. So, the maximum winds were 35mph, with gusts up to 46mph, so it shouldn't be generating any more "Earthquake Energy" beyond that point! And you're up to date on that. And of course there's this: Tropical Depression Harvey Report of late Wednesday@ http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCMAT4+shtml/310254.shtml Although that appears to now be yesterday!

THIS one again. . . struck at the throat of Mount St. Helens!!!!
AND Here's the USGS Report on that earthquake there at the Center of Mt. St. Helens:

0.9 - 37km NNE of Amboy, Washington
2017-08-30 16:03:06 UTC 46.198°N 122.184°W -0.3 km depth

Hurricane Irma crosses the Atlantic currently with Winds at 115, and Gusts of 140mph!!! Irma was located at 35 West Longitude at that time, while at the same time a 4.9 Richters Earthquake has already struck that same Caribbean Region out in front of this Big Hurricane at 49 Degrees Longitude and looks like it's directly in line with where Hurricane is heading!!! Expect more shaking in that area because they're saying Hurricane Irma is a Big One!!! And going to be striking somewhere, soon!!!

Updating at press time, these two appeared to be posted over the top of each other and one of them has the name Saint Helens, so I'll tell you anyways they're not quite as close to the center of the volcano as that one above. . . but still not far away there:

1.3 13km WNW of Saint Helens, Oregon 2017-08-31 12:59
1.6 12km W of Columbia City, Oregon 2017-08-31 12:52

Be sure there's a lot of earthquakes coming as I'm writing this! Phone also rang Thursday with a 6.3 Indonesia Earthquake to be sure there's things moving as far as those tectonic plates are concerned!!! Can't forget to watch Bangladesh, Burma, Salta, Copiapo, and Salem, Oregon. . . along with all the new places and I'll be going over all that on "Earthquake Minute" later today, too!!! Tune-In!!! And Have a Good Holiday Weekend, Too!!!
