Script/Transcript:  Hi, EQ Guy Here!!  On Monday they had a 4.7 Richters Earthquake that struck 3 Miles Northeast of Los Angeles later downgraded to a 4.4 with the epicenter being between Pasadena, and South Pasadena along Rosemead Blvd, there!!  Seismologists have said there may be some connection to last weeks 7.1 that struck Japan due to Japan being directly across the Pacific Tectonic Plate.  San Andreas Fault is not far away, but the epicenter of Mondays shaker remains on the Pacific Tectonic Plate exactly as those professionals have stated. This was the Puente Hills Fault Line.

There had also already been that 5.2 that struck North of Los Angeles near Bakersfield and with that epicenter actually at a small town called Grapevine which is best known for a big truckstop there along the I-5.  Not far away is the epicenter of the famous 7.9 Fort Tejon Earthquake of 1857.
