Now here's that Pic/Illustration of Hurricane Olivia and the 3.7 Hawaii Earthquake!!! You can see that RED LINE through the Island of Maui, there, is the route Hurricane Olivia took as it crossed Hawaii, and THERE'S the Star representing the epicenter of the 3.7!!!
When I noticed this big Japan Earthquake just now it wasn't until I saw the one felt report that I decided to run it!!! This is just the felt report but pretty much tells you everything! Look where it was felt and 5 reports from there, too:

As I was going over yesterdays EQ Blog and doing some editing on it, I just so happened to notice I might have actually missed this South Carolina Earthquake that looks like it struck right about in the middle of the landfall of Hurricane Florence there!!! It actually struck there as Hurricane Florence outer bands had just reached landfall there!!! Here's the USGS Report followed by the felt report:

There had been quite a lot of earthquakes coming to my phone in the last 24 hours or so since I wrote yesterdays EQ Blog! Seems like it rang many times during the night last night and although none really worth writing much about, mostly in the 5 range and although it looks like some shaking now around New Zealand that I will look into and cover in my next edition!!!
My latest line of reasoning for around the Los Angeles/San Andreas Fault Region is that WHEN it does begin to shake there, it should go on, and on, and on with some fairly big earthquakes. . . for quite a few days!!! Going to be bigger than just those one's and two's they get sometimes! This series could go as high as 5's and 6 Richter Earthquakes that could shake there for several days!!! Possibly something like 5 or 6 on the Richter Scale shaking many times a day for at least the several days Hurricane Florence shook the Carolina's!!! They say people can "Hear" the sound of the wind blow as a big earthquake is shaking so be watching for that if you're out there, because it just might be the sound of Hurricane Florence!!!!!
