7.7 On The Richter Scale This Week Cuba-Jamaica Earthquake NOW Looks Like Result of Alert For New Madrid Striking Along Basically That Same Straight-Line Across That Region!!! Greece Is Getting Some Shaking, Too!!! And Still a Few Good Sized Alerts Remain!!!

Especially for today I had a note to re-check the landfall of Typhoon Hagibis at Japan and when I went to my already filed away Hagibis Files, here's a Great Pic I discovered and you can already see what I'm talking about there where that line literately INTERSECTS with Cuba and Jamaica!!!!!
Thought we were talking about the landfall of Typhoon Kammuri at Philippines, but it turns out probably struck on the final days of alert for New Madrid which I'd been touting for quite some time, now!!! Hope that should be the end of that alert and New Madrid and all those regions should be done shaking!!!!! But at the end of todays EQ Blog I'll detail those remaining alerts!!! Now let's move on. . . . .

Lot of shaking at this slightly offshore Greece Epicenter, but so far haven't heard of any damage or injuries, etc. there. . . just keeps shaking now well into Friday, there:

4.7 74km ESE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-31 04:34
4.4 67km SE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 11:32
5.8 62km ESE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 11:21
4.2 69km ESE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 05:43
4.0 68km ESE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 05:12
4.1 77km SE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 02:10
4.2 70km ESE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 01:46
5.6 72km ESE of Karpathos, Greece 2020-01-30 01:28

A few shakers continue at the Cuba/Jamaica Epicenter, but otherwise looks like pretty much a normal shaking thing and we'll know if it comes to an end in another day or so. . . . .

4.7 43km SSE of East End, Cayman Islands 2020-01-30 12:58
4.0 32km SSE of East End, Cayman Islands 2020-01-30 02:23
4.0 54km SE of East End, Cayman Islands 2020-01-29 09:01
5.1 114km NNW of Lucea, Jamaica 2020-01-29 08:53:14
4.1 142km E of East End, Cayman Islands 2020-01-29 08:14
4.3 57km SE of East End, Cayman Islands 2020-01-28 23:16

Not sure why there don't seem to be any felt reports from this one just to the south of the border as you can see on the list of nearby places. . . look for Tijuana, Mexico there:

3.4 - 34km ENE of Maneadero, B.C., MX
2020-01-29 18:54:40 (UTC) 31.800°N 116.223°W 18.0 km depth

Nearby Places
21 Miles WSW is Maneadero,B.C., MX
23.8 Miles WNW is Ensenada,B.C., MX
27.9 Miles WNW is El Sauzal,B.C., MX
50 Miles NW is Primo Tapia,B.C., MX
68.7 Miles NW to Tijuana,B.C., MX

So, I guess there would then still be at least that one big alert for Iquique, Chile, but when you consider all the action we've been already seeing everywhere else and the number of days coming, tells me something is now rather likely to strike that shaky, shaky Chile Region which also contains Arica, Bolivia, Argentina, and parts of Peru, too!!! While two other alerts will remain for Alaska Volcanoes, and more up towards Turkey, I'd have to take into consideration both have been shaking and we just could be following them for safety's sake!!!
