Update: There was a 5.8Richters Earthquake now with several aftershocks including 4.9 and hundreds of felt reports currently close to 800 and I'll have all the rest in a later blog!!! Right now some damage has been reported with one pic showing a building crushing two cars there!!! Now Todays previously written blog:
It wasn't that Novorupta Volcano that we were watching there for, RATHER, on Friday the Shishaldin Volcano very near Novorupta ERUPTED!!! And that eruption did INDEED interrupt air travel all around that Alaska Volcano Region, too!!! Yes, you'll recall the alert, or you may still view it at YouTube below, and as heard on that "Earthquake Minute" Radio Show on Friday!!! And I said on that show a review of the potential Earthquake Energy showed it heads directly for just west of Anchorage and lot of volcanoes in that region led me to a search for exactly WHERE it might strike. Well, Shishaldin turns out to be 400 miles west of Novorupta Volcano and DID interrupt air travel looks like Friday their time right around time of that show!!! Almost said this 5.5 Nicaragua was part of the upcoming Iquique, Chile series. . . . . then it occurred to me it may not be! That due to the fact that Nicaragua is just a little bit further north than Chile! Here's a pretty good sized felt report although no damage or injuries reported and look at the DEPTH:

So, we'll continue to watch Iquique and Arica, Chile because chance they could get big earthquake yet!!! Also possible those Alaska Volcanoes could see more action, yet!! So, there's some things shaking, yet and possibly more volcano eruptions, too!!!!! NOW we'll also need to keep an eye on Puerto Rico where big earthquake just could be out there. . . yet!!!
