Hurricane Laura Makes Landfall At Lake Charles, Louisiana!!! WILL Mean Some Big Time Shaking For Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, And China Regions And China!!! Caribbean Doing Some Shaking!!! 3.2 Richters Earthquake Shook Detroit On Friday!!! Hurricane Laura "Earthquake Minute" Video!!!

Hurricane Laura crossed the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday and very late Wednesday and Very Early Thursday, August 27, 2020 made landfall heading in a fairly northerly direction at Cameron, Louisiana with winds around CAT-4 at 150 Miles Per Hour and as of this writing 127 has been registered somewhere out there!!!   Big News today because a similar landfall of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 came to precede 7.6 Islamabad Earthquake and so we'll be watching for much the same sort of Major Earthquake in kind of the same region although this new line does not cross over in the same direction and so don't expect Islamabad or Pakistan to get this new Major Earthquake, rather I'm now looking more towards Myanmar and Bangladesh and with what appears to have been a slight turn at landfall also include Nepal, New Delhi Region, and China could get some of this, too!!!  Where the line crossed onto land at Louisiana might also note just to the south of there is border between Mexico and Guatemala and so I'm thinking Oaxaca, Mexico AGAIN!!!  Not small this time, either, with up to 7.6 or 8 there!!!

Lot of shaking at the Caribbean Region where Hurricane Laura passed through this week, of course landfall at Louisiana will be even bigger so for now here's the list I'm looking at on Wednesday Night as landfall nears there:

I must report having been swimming in Lake Mendota at what would have been about the time this one shook, however difficult it would have been right then and there. . . to make a note of it meant running to shore and drying off before pulling notes out of pocket and writing all of it out!!!  Did feel this one shake for several seconds, however there will never be a report from Madison, Wisconsin at least not one from me swimming in the lake, there!!!  Here's the USGS Report and shows the distance to Lansing for your information:

Two Big Ones At 6.8 And 6.9 Struck Sumatra, Indonesia!!! 5.1 Struck South Of The Border With Mexico 425 Miles North of Prediction, There, And Lots of Felt Reports All The Way North To Los Angeles, And Lompoc In Santa Barbara County, Too!!!!! Easter Island Is Shaking!!!

When i posted these next two that were actually the first two right here, now, was when I also noticed next one is a 6.6 which tells me there IS lot of shaking and we should keep watching for more and where!  Because while these two Sumatra Shakers appear to have followed Hurricane Douglas at Hawaii. . . there's more potential epicenters I am expecting to shake from that as I'll discuss later and on this weeks show, too!!!  Here's just the list from Tuesday:

Now the more I look at this 5.1 Mexico Earthquake from Monday, more it seems as though this might all be the work of landfall of Hurricane Hanna at South Padre Island, Texas!!!!  Bout 425 Miles North of the exact prediction for a bigger one that may still strike with this one having struck on Day 23, and 31 still ahead on August 25 and Day 43 not until September 6 with Full Moon September 2, too!!!  Here's felt report on that 5.1:

North Carolina Keeps Shaking!!! What Else Might Also Shake!!! LOOKS Like It Might Be California, Too!!! And With Help From That Carolina Shaker??? Also Need To Keep Watching East Coast, Yet!!! New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Virginia!!!

Today I mostly wanted to post what's happening with East Coast and those North Carolina Earthquakes!!!  Again, with that landfall there of Hurricane Isaias there could be more and today also found many, many tornadoes in that North Carolina/Virginia Region along with Maryland and Delmarva Region!!!  Lots of tornadoes will usually mean some shaking, too, and they're getting just that!  Tornadoes preceded the Landers Earthquake and others so we know California could get something!  And while East Coast Tsunami is not real likely, fact remains there is NO "Tsunami Alert" for any of those regions and if big one should strike offshore, places such as New Bern get no warning of Big Tsunami at all, there!!!  Just saying!

North Carolina Is Shaking!!! Headline Actually Written BEFORE That Big 5.1 North Carolina Earthquake Struck There Early Sunday!!! Now Keep Watching New York, New Jersey, Hackensack, And East Coast For MORE!!!

Early Sunday Morning or 8:07am Eastern Time, there was a 5.1 On The Richter Scale Earthquake that struck far Northern Region of North Carolina near Sparta, NC and very near border with Virginia, there!!!  Currently with almost 100,000 felt reports and am guessing it will go OVER that number, yet, all the East Coast has felt reports although the updated USGS List now has over 3 pages of 1000 names EACH!!!  Here's just Page 4 from that big list and this is FARTHEST from the North Carolina Epicenter the town of which is currently at 395 Felt Reports themselves, Sparta!!!  Naturally big enough lots of damage such as glass, dishes, chimneys, etc. but up to this point no deaths!!!  Here's a glance at felt report and remember all the places in between that make up the remaining 3000 town names and Zip Codes of those nearer:
