Hurricane Laura crossed the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday and very late Wednesday and Very Early Thursday, August 27, 2020 made landfall heading in a fairly northerly direction at Cameron, Louisiana with winds around CAT-4 at 150 Miles Per Hour and as of this writing 127 has been registered somewhere out there!!! Big News today because a similar landfall of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 came to precede 7.6 Islamabad Earthquake and so we'll be watching for much the same sort of Major Earthquake in kind of the same region although this new line does not cross over in the same direction and so don't expect Islamabad or Pakistan to get this new Major Earthquake, rather I'm now looking more towards Myanmar and Bangladesh and with what appears to have been a slight turn at landfall also include Nepal, New Delhi Region, and China could get some of this, too!!! Where the line crossed onto land at Louisiana might also note just to the south of there is border between Mexico and Guatemala and so I'm thinking Oaxaca, Mexico AGAIN!!! Not small this time, either, with up to 7.6 or 8 there!!!
Lot of shaking at the Caribbean Region where Hurricane Laura passed through this week, of course landfall at Louisiana will be even bigger so for now here's the list I'm looking at on Wednesday Night as landfall nears there:

I must report having been swimming in Lake Mendota at what would have been about the time this one shook, however difficult it would have been right then and there. . . to make a note of it meant running to shore and drying off before pulling notes out of pocket and writing all of it out!!! Did feel this one shake for several seconds, however there will never be a report from Madison, Wisconsin at least not one from me swimming in the lake, there!!!
