Script/Transcript: Hello Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!!!! This week there was a 6.2 On The Richter Scale Major Earthquake at Indonesia felt in Jakarta bout 268 Miles to the east of that epicenter. Taking a look right now and I see August 23 is or was Day 49 and August 24, Day 50! With Day 60 coming up on September 3 of that big alert just the same! And again it is my own opinion THIS movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate appears to be at a Tectonic Plate Boundary with the Indo/Australian Tectonic Plate, and COULD next shake that shaky Oaxaca, Mexico Region, or San Francisco, Ukiah, and the etc. region of Northern California depending on which alert you follow, but personally I have to follow them both! And a town by the name of San Francisco in Oaxaca had a 4.4 this week just sayin’ ~~New Moon this weekend as we watch that region for bout a 5.7 On the Richter Scale. That. . . . . Wikipedia describes these as the biggest earthquakes to shake San Francisco since the 1906 Frisco Earthquake up to that time! Today, I’m watching for about the same size earthquake for about the same region of Northern California so mostly be aware not all that big of earthquake, but still could strike close to that heavily populated region of Northern California!!! ~~It is my own personal opinion this one might just strike San Francisco Region Mendocino, Willits, Ukiah, Tahoe, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Frisco, and Oakland in the not too distant future!! Yes, as we await major shaking to strike this region of Northern California thinking those big upwards of 98 Mile Per Hour winds which went along with that 800 Miles Long Big Windstorm or Derecho, of July 5 which reportedly started all the way out in the Dakotas, crossed much of Minnesota, and included lot of the State Of Iowa, there, too, and COULD yet be associated with some, even however slight, movement of the North American Tectonic Plate and thereby my own personal opinion it could shake Northern Californiaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! ~~Saying 5.7 On the Richter Scale. I know this isn't exactly a part of the whole in so far as we're watching San Francisco/Oakland for about a 5.7 but have to say Oakland did get a direct hit at 2.0 there!!!!! Why no felt reports at the USGS is unknown because this one on Monday appears to have struck directly under that city!!!

Hi, EQ Guy Here! 5.4, 4.2, and a 4.2 Richters Earthquakes struck Honduras last week, and this alert runs well into September yet
~~There have now been two Derechos at Minnesota, May 10, and July 5 and one of those lines of potential, although must admit this is a new area to me, IF such a line did exist one of the lines crosses directly through that already very, very shaky TEXAS Epicenter, there! The line from the July Derecho with 100 Mile Per Hour winds, runs through Boise, and to the north of San Francisco! And August 15 will be Day 40 on that alert so watch for something, whatever follows a big derecho. . . Possibly bout a 5.5 Magnitude Earthquake, let’s see! And it runs through Nambia and a 4.0 Richters Earthquake struck Zambia!! ~~Last week I discussed Hurricane Frank passing near our West Coast of California, This week I’m telling you they got some really BIG Waves from what they call the remnants of Hurricane Frank!! First at the beaches of San Diego where the lifeguards there handled quite a lot of rescues!!! AND those really big Big Waves then continued on to Huntington Beach also known as “Surf City” AND. . .where they just so happened to be holding Surfing Championships! i'm telling you until now windstorms have made somewhat of a difference, namely I'll watch anytime rather big tornadoes strike around the mid-west and have had some results to talk about, too! ~~Totally new to me is the fact that we now seem to be getting what Meteorogolists are calling a “Derecho” the Spanish word for big winds! I personally never really noticed this was coming on until one day I was driving north through Rockford, Illinois and experienced very strong winds blowing from west to east across Perryville Road and observed traffic lights swinging, and branches/twigs blowing from west to east across that road while experiencing really darkness conditions, there during what would normally be afternoon daylight hours! Today that is known as the August 10, 2020 Midwest Derecho and there is a Wikipedia Page at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_2020_Midwest_derecho ~~Looking at a list of earthquakes which followed that really big year 2020 windstorm shows a number of earthquakes which I want to assert could have easily been at best lightly connected to that windstorm with gusts reported as high as 140 Miles Per Hour at Cedar Rapids, Iowa! Notable earthquakes being a 3.2 Detroit Beach, Michigan August 21, a 3.9 United Kingdom on September 8, 3.1 Marlboro, New Jersey on September 9, and a 4.5 South El Monte, California September 19. With all due respect for the fact that my list also includes a 7.6 Sand Point, Alaska on October 19, and 3.6 Bliss Corner, Massachusetts on November 8, 2020. The latest one at Massachusetts being on Day 91 after that big windstorm and most recently these days I will routinely follow a windstorm watching for seismic activity through Day 110 or thereabouts. ~~Today I’m talking about the Derecho that struck the Minnesota Region on July 5, 2022 and so comparing those days above where I’m suggesting some related earthquakes shook, comes out at October 23, 2022 being our Day 110 and thusly this alert should run up until that date, or you could say at least according to my own personal experiences of following the very biggest windstorms. . .earthquakes will be striking between now and what I call the end date, there! ~~Some other dates that will be upcoming and you could surely say are not related in any other way than correlating with earthquakes that followed in 2020 are August 3, 2022, Day 29, the day number when the 3.1 struck Marlboro, New Jersey, August 13 will be Day 39 or the day number when El Monte got that 4.5, and the 7.6 San Point, Alaska struck on Day 70 which will be coming on October 19, 2022 with a prominent Day 76 immediately following that date and Day 76 was long an end date until only more recently I’ve extended most alerts to Day 110. ~~After it occurred to me yesterday that this could affect Califonia I immediately checked my “Globe/Straightline Tool” and identified a “Straight Line” heading directly for the Northern California Area and when just now checking that location against a map found Mendocino, California but knowing it also crossed a shaky valley or mountian region also went on to find Willits, and Ukiah, therefore including the names of those two towns in todays banner headline, but noting anywhere along that line could get this upwards of 6 Magnitude maybe bigger Major Earthquake. Some of you reading this are probably aware that lot of these places in this region have been known to be the epicenter (s) for what today historically we know as Big San Francisco Earthquakes!!! Lines such as I’m suggesting can also vary enough that much more heavily populated regions just to the south of this line might well be looking at some big time shaking, too, albeit 50-100 Miles to the south. They include Tahoe, Santa Rosa, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Oakland Regions, too! ~~Until it occurred to me just in the last few days, that a Derecho might be a potential cause of some brand-new movement of tectonic plates, or much less a Major Earthquake. . . . . I’d have never believed it myself so I sure understand having a difficult time enjoying much scientific agreement today to be the reality of the situation! ~~Thank-You Again for accepting my submissions on earthquakes!!!

Hi, EQ Guy Here! 5.4, 4.2, and a 4.2 Richters Earthquakes have struck Honduras this week around that area we’ve been watching following hurricane there, and this alert runs well into September yet, so there will remain a chance of more shaking!!! ``There have now been two Derecheos at Minnesota, May 10, and July 5 and one of those lines of potential, although must admit this is a new area to me, IF such a line did exist one of the lines crosses directly through that already very, very shaky TEXAS Epicenter, there! The line from the July Derecheo with 100 Mile Per Hour winds, runs through Boise, and to the north of San Francisco! And August 5 will be Day 30 on that alert so watch for something, whatever follows a big derecheo. . . Possibly bout a 5.5 Magnitude Earthquake, let’s see! And it runs through Nambia and this week a 4.0 Richters Earthquake struck Zambia!! ``This has been “Earthquake Minute”. . . And I. . . Am. . . . .The EQ Guy!!!

Quick check at press time shows many stories about this shaker online, but no reports of damage and does say bout 6am Pacific Time, which I'm having some trouble converting to Central or Eastern Time although the official time given in Universal Time is 13:22 UTC.
