I Suppose a Major Japan Aftershock Is Possible!
Phone just now chimed at 6:45am Central Time with a text from www.twitter.com/earthquakes telling me a 5.6 Richters earthquake just struck "Near The East Coast of Honshu, Japan." It then occurred to me that it would be possible that the big Korean Nuclear test recently COULD cause that recently sensitive Japanese Fault Line to suffer a Major Aftershock of their still very recent 2012 Great Honshu Earthquake and while up to this point earthquakes that have been the result of those Korean Nuke tests have not been as big as that original Japan Earthquake was last year, perhaps we might still want to watch that region just the same for like a smallish 7 or 8 Richters earthquake for the coming moments, hours and day or so! Earlier Korea tests I have located region where blast took place and tracked earthquake energy along a straight line based on the geography of that region, this time I do not seem to have an exact coordinate and until I have one, no exact estimate for where this potentially big earthquake might strike, so just sayin' Japan. Blogging today from beautiful downtown Joliet, Illinois where now world famous Sgt. Drew Peterson will be sentenced for murder. Death penalty was recently repealed in Illinois. EQ Guy
