Suburban Chicago Earthquake Was Felt In Loves Park, Illinois, and Hammond, Indiana!!! Updated Felt Report is in!!! ALSO a 3.0 Struck Southwest of San Clemente, California!

UPDATE: 4.3 at 8:30 am Central And 3.5 earlier at Coalinga, California just south of San Jose and San Francisco along the San Andreas Fault! Major Aftershocks are continuing!

By the time I managed to get all the way through the now updated list of places the recent Suburban Chicago Earthquake was felt. . . I couldn't believe all the nearby towns that are now on that list!!! Just the town of Loves Park alone flabbergasted me! Then it was even reported to have been felt as far to the north even of ME as in Madison, Wisconsin!!! I will even be going up there tomorrow to work and did not report feeling that one myself! Of course it was time for my next, not that big of one, but "Quake Chase" just the same! I was thinking about calling this one "Quake Chase: Algonquin" due to the epicenter being so near that friendly little town along the Fox River where I've been known to do me some Rollerblading during the hottest days of the year on the "Fox River Trail" there. While the location of the epicenter on this Northern Illinois Earthquake was listed as "Lake In The Hills" as you can see in the above picture, I have to report that the exact location of the exact epicenter ended up being locked and guarded well behind the gates of a "Gated Community" and therefore The EQ Guy was not able to get a look at the activities going on therein which are likely to have led up to this Major Earthquake Event as Illinois Earthquakes go you know! Rather from looking off to the side of the main road through that area and saw a lot of rather suspicous looking activity that suggested whomever was behind this system of locked gates is probably either doing some hydraulic fracturing, testing high explosives, or doing some major underground construction or something along those lines. Most likely if I could get a better look there might be a ravine or chasm to show for all this. . . but absent a fair look I'm going to guess somebody is up to something:) Just sayin'

Finally as far as everything else that is going on earthquake wise around the world I just had to check to find that the April Full Moon will be on April 4, 2015 at 12:07 UTC, or 7:07am Central, 5:07am Pacific so if nothing happens sooner we will be talking about that much more next week, AND. . . of course seeing it high over head as we continue to watch for a Major Earthquake especially at New Zealand and there was in fact even another earthquake at Vanuatu of 4.5 Richters which reminds me to say they could also be in for some major shaking, yet! Best news over in that part of the world is the government of Vanuatu is being credited with going out to all the islands everywhere and helping the people to rebuild!!! God Bless!!! EQ Guy
