Santa Ana Winds were one of the very first things that I noted to have been directly connected to earthquakes!!! It all happened one day I was visiting the Santa Monica Pier when all of the sudden a BIG WIND came right up quick and blew really hard, especially against my face and off the Pacific Ocean there!!! Hadn't but a moment to put much thought into that when the ground started to move east and west there, too. . . it was an earthquake, but one that immediately followed one of those otherwise "Garden Variety" Santa Ana Winds, you know. That was the moment I realized the wind that had been blowing in my face was NOT just wind, rather it was a huge mass of air moving onto shore off the Pacific and as I looked around, I noticed a nearby mountain range clearly visible just off the the north from the Pier there. Must have been that big wind hitting that big mountain that caused that small amount of shaking the same instant was my calculation that followed and today still proves to more or less be true!!!

Going back over all this writing at press time, not sure if I made my point correctly with the Santa Ana Wind story, and about the big Ventura County Fire. . . but for now mostly want to add how sorry I am for all my friends up there in Ventura County, California, where there's currently a REALLY BIG FIRE there!!! There's also a spot up there where I once wanted to build myself and one great friend and earthquake follower in Fillmore!!!!! Hope all are well, God Bless!!!

All of the sudden a lot of shaking here and would you look at the name they're giving the epicenter:

1.0 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 05:12
1.1 25km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:42
1.1 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:25
1.0 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:19
1.5 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:15
1.0 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:14
2.2 14km WNW of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:08
0.6 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:06
1.7 26km ENE of West Yellowstone, Montana 2017-12-05 04:03

So there might be more shaking coming up there in that region and I must say Yellowstone could be considered to be very much along the line we're watching up there between Edmonton, and Chicago and I seem to recall not too long ago I picked the name of a town in Nebraska or Missouri where the epicenter could strike close to. . . and it struck Montana like last summer or so! Could always be the chance that could happen again, although must say this one is not destined to be as big, rather it's more like a 5 or 6 and beleive I gave 6.5 for about the maximum. Alaska is that alert by the way. However do not forget Peru is a whole different alert and much bigger alert, too! And that is the one moving out around the Indio/Aust. Tectonic Plate these days, too, especially including that Bali, Indonesia Volcano so we'll still need to keep an eye on that a while yet, too, along with Peru!!!
