4.3 Northern California Earthquake From Late Wednesday Felt a Couple Places Around San Francisco Bay Area, BUT Apparently Not in Santa Rosa, Eureka, Ferndale, or Anywhere in Oregon!!! New Moon Window Will Start This Weekend!!!

UPDATE: Here's This Weeks 3.6 Richters Haiti "Earthquake Minute" VIDEO From The Studio, CLICK Arrow: Check This Weeks Vid Out at YouTube@ https://youtu.be/-2aC7bICVLg And The Transcript@ http://earthquakealert3.blogspot.com/2017/12/36-richters-haiti-earthquake-minute-for.html

I want to update Fridays EQ Blog with the fact that I just now located the exact moment of the upcoming New Moon and it will be very early Monday Morning. . . therefore the New Moon Window will begin around 10:30pm Saturday Night Pacific Time and around 12:31am Central. Since the New Moon Window runs now from Late Saturday into Early Tuesday, I'm adding it to this edition of my EQ Blog since a few places such as Pacific Islands, Iran-Iraq, Peru, and perhaps some of California, too!!! Now Fridays EQ Blog:

I found this great illustration that shows exactly where we are watching around Haiti, if you can see it here, the line goes directly through it there, and maybe even crosses the exact point where yesterdays Epicenter was. . .exactly as predicted!!! Haiti is now circled in RED and you can see the line isn't that far from Dover, Delaware, too, along with Edmonton and Chicago:

The felt reports from this late Wednesday Northern California Earthquake eventually came in from the San Francisco Bay Region although none ever came in from Santa Rosa. . . and surprisingly none from Eureka, Ferndale, or even up into Oregon where they had also just got a 4.0 earlier that evening or day as the case may be. I can only guess it's something to do with how the epicenter of Laytonville is situated with respect to the San Andreas Fault. Now you can check out the entire felt report@ http://earthquakealert.blogspot.com/2017/12/43-richters-earthquake-that-struck-late.html And Here's the USGS Report from that 4.3 NorCal Shaker:

4.3 - 19km WSW of Laytonville, CA
2017-12-14 04:57:18 UTC 39.600°N 123.669°W 6.1 km depth

Nearby Places:
11.8 Miles WSW of Laytonville, California
12.4 Miles SE of Cape Vizcaino, California
12.4 Miles SE of Rockport, California
13.0 Miles NNE of Fort Bragg, California
39.8 Miles NW of Ukiah, California

Looked like a lot of earthquakes in that one area, although I now see those Piru ones might be the same ones we discussed in yesterdays EQ Blog! Does still look like a lot in that same region, though:

1.6 6km ESE of Simi Valley, CA 2017-12-14 14:39
2.2 5km W of Malibu Beach, CA 2017-12-14 14:28
1.6 2km SSE of Piru, CA 2017-12-13 16:33
2.1 3km SE of Piru, CA 2017-12-13 16:23
2.4 4km SE of Piru, CA 2017-12-13 16:06

HERE'S a Great Story:

Haiti - FLASH : Quake in Petit-Goâve, 14/12/2017 04:28pm

The BME's Technical Seismology Unit (UTS) is teaming up with the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) and the Permanent Secretariat for Risk and Disaster Management (SPGRD) to inform that an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the scale of Richter was recorded on Tuesday, December 13, 2017 at 5h, 10, and 24 secondes.

The epicenter was located at sea 10 km north-west of Petit-Goâve and 17 km North-East of Miragoâne. The shock was widely felt in Petit-Goâve.

The Directorate of Civil Protection informs for its that in the early evening, an earthquake has shaken Petit-Goâve causing panic in the city center. No damage recorded for the moment. Almost all sections communal (12) felt the quake, according to the communal committee of the DPC."

The UTS reminds everyone that "earthquakes can not be predicted and can occur at any time." Therefore, faced the seismic threat, the actions of preparation remain of rigor : respect of the norms of construction earthquake-resistant, learning the behavior to take before, during and after an earthquake."
~~~Hello, I borrowed this from the following Haiti Website@ https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22979-haiti-flash-quake-in-petit-goave.html Thank-You!!!
There had been two Malibu Earthquakes, so I just cut the update from the list of latest and I'll post it right here, but it's an update to the similar above list, too:
1.9 4km ENE of Moorpark, CA 2017-12-15 05:36
1.2 6km SW of Malibu Beach, CA 2017-12-14 14:39
2.3 4km WSW of Malibu Beach, CA 2017-12-14 14:28
Thank-You for tuning-in if you stopped by on Friday to listen to this weeks "Earthquake Minute"!!! That video can be found at top of page and the transcript, too!!!
With Haiti now shaking, it appears we might really need to watch there for as big as a 5 or 6 Richters, maybe Dover, Delaware, Northern California yet for a while, too!!! And very sorry for our friend the Firefighter from Escondido, San Diego who lost his life fighting fires in California.
