8.2 Richters Earthquake At Gulf of Alaska Was Downgraded To 7.9 Had Major Tsunami Warnings, Too!!! LOOKS Like Tsunami Alert Has Passed, BUT Severe Winter Conditions Have NOT and So Still Watch California For Major Earthquake!!! FELT REPORT Is IN!!!

All of this happened in the very early hours of Tuesday Morning at my house in Wisconsin and I was awoken at around 4:45am with a 5.5 Gulf of Alaska and hadn't even then noticed yet another message which arrived earlier saying 8.2 Gulf of Alaska I noticed in the morning!!! Sorry for all the people affected by it and must have been very late hours along our West Coast where THEY even appear to have had some evacuations due to not knowing if Tsunami would happen!!! Here's a great story covering all the tsunami facts@ https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/908578/earthquake-news-alaska-tsunami-warning-usa-canada-ring-of-fire-big-one-California-hawaii FELT REPORT Now In is posted in last paragraph today!!! Now onto todays EQ Blog:

There had also been a 6.0 Earthquake 110 Miles South of Jakarta, Indonesia and just happened to go to my sheet and check it late Monday Night to find Jakarta written on the entry for landfall of Cyclone Ava on January 5!!! I'll cover that in next EQ Blog due to this one being so busy with Alaska and here's the USGS Report from early Tuesdays 8.2 Gulf of Alaska Earthquake which was downgraded to a:

7.9 - 280km SE of Kodiak, Alaska
2018-01-23 09:31am UTC 56.046°N 149.073°W 25.0 km depth
Nearby Places:
152 Miles Southeast of Kodiak Island, Alaska
359 Miles South of Anchorage, Alaska
365 Miles South of Eagle River, Alaska
378 Miles South of Knik-Fairview, Alaska
571 Miles WSW of Juneau, Alaska

And you might as well know the Great Alaska Earthquake of 1964 was found by me to have also been preceded by Major Severe Winter Conditions!!! Albeit in March 1964 and here's a look at that story@ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1964_Alaska_earthquake

Can't honestly say any of the following earthquake information could have been connected in any way to all the shaking in Alaska this morning, but now looking back. . . it does seem possible doesn't it:

1.3 6km NE of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 13:25
1.1 18km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 05:46
1.1 18km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 05:34
1.5 18km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 05:20
1.0 18km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 05:09
2.0 18km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 05:08
1.6 19km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 05:07
0.8 19km N of Indio, CA 2018-01-22 03:33

COULD be something in this weeks Michigan Meteor "Earthquake Minute" Video, CLICK Arrow: Now here's Michigan Meteor at YouTube@ https://youtu.be/f4jkTZZtVfI AND The Transcript is@ http://earthquakealert3.blogspot.com/2018/01/michigan-meteor-earthquake-minute-of.html

Spotted the 3.0 at the top and THAT Made me think I should go back and look up the recent Ludlow Earthquake and see if anything more had been shaking around there, and here's what I found:

3.0 7km WSW of Ludlow, CA 2018-01-22 14:54
1.9 14km NE of Ludlow, CA 2018-01-14 16:57
1.4 14km NE of Ludlow, CA 2018-01-14 14:45
3.7 13km NE of Ludlow, CA 2018-01-14 19:56
2.8 17km WSW of Ludlow, CA 2017-12-29 18:20

THIS is one of the bigger ones I've seen in this previously shaky Loyola Region just to the West of San Jose but right along the San Andreas Fault where we are watching. . . maybe this one was telling us something:

2.2 - 9km SSW of Loyola, CA
2018-01-22 16:14:39 UTC 37.272°N 122.126°W 13.1 km depth

Nearby Places:
5.6 Miles SSW of Loyola, California
5.6 Miles West of Saratoga, California
6.2 Miles SW of Cupertino, California
7 Miles S. of Los Altos Hills, California

Plenty of more big earthquakes have been the result of such Severe Winter Conditions as we are NOW GETTING!!! Possibly more to come but best story I wish to tell was New Madrid Earthquakes and they were not able to get out of the East Coast Cities to help out there. . . due to Major Blizzard they just got!!! Now looking at Officially a "Blizzard" in Nebraska, so no surprise and could be more Major Earthquakes to come!

Now the Felt Report from the 8.2 Downgraded to a 7.9 Gulf of Alaska Earthquake from Early Tuesday@ http://earthquakealert.blogspot.com/2018/01/felt-report-on-82-downgraded-to-79-gulf.html And appears to be many aftershocks, and I'll get that entire list later, too! For now anything can happen and Severe Winter Conditions keep getting worse so too could the shaking!!! Where we had been WATCHING after the 6.3 Chile and 6.3 Mexico, it shouldn't be a surprise still more shaking could be out there and California is right there in the middle of it ALL!!!
