6.0 Richters Earthquake Strikes Offshore Panama!!! At The End of the February Full Moon Window. . . California Still Shaking!?

I know the full moon just so happens to be high overhead right now as I'm writing this, but the facts remain that the mathematical end of the February Full Moon Window did occur at around 5:12pm Central time earlier on Wednesday. Spent a lot of that day recalling the now immortal lines from the commercial, "Guess what Dayyyyyyy it is?" And of course, yes, it was that day, too! Meanwhile, I caught up with movies that are Oscars related and saw "Whiplash" and won't give away too much more about it besides it is the name of a song used throughout that movie for music folks who know Irving Berlin. . . you might enjoy the movie.

We were discussing the full moon, and I was about to add that the 6.0 Panama fell quite far outside of the February Full Moon Window or 7 hours and 28 minutes after it ended to be exact. Not bad, but just a little too far to be counted towards any of the systems that I normally use to keep track of such data. That is the routine number or numbers I establish for the purpose of counting how many earthquakes are or should be included in the full or new moon windows and I can agree to add a few or even several. . . but rarely count one that strikes as many as 7 and a half hours outside of the window. On the other hand and also along the same lines is the fact that the following list shows there were 3 Oklahoma Earthquakes in the first 24 hours of that window and like 10 OR 11 in the 24 hours after the exact moment of the February Full Moon:

2.9 4km N of Cherokee, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 21:56:28
2.3 15km SSE of Guthrie, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 21:04:50
3.2 11km WNW of Medford, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 19:36:01
2.6 16km WNW of Helena, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 12:49:47
3.2 8km NE of Cherokee, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 12:20:48
2.5 6km ENE of Luther, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 11:43:35
3.1 24km W of Waukomis, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 09:20:55
3.6 12km ENE of Anthony, Kansas 2015-02-04 07:20:31
2.8 2km NW of Cherokee, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 03:12:35
2.3 4km SSW of Langston, Oklahoma 2015-02-04 00:41:08
2.1 8km ENE of Langston, Oklahoma 2015-02-03 19:07:11
EXACT MOMENT HERE AT 17:12 CENTRAL TIME
3.3 9km NNW of Caldwell, Kansas 2015-02-03 16:19:14
3.8 8km ENE of Cherokee, Oklahoma 2015-02-03 06:37:17
3.5 2km S of Perry, Oklahoma 2015-02-02 16:09:37

The 6.0 Panama Earthquake looks to be just a little over 200 miles off the coast of Panama to the south and it is also looking like California has had a LOT of earthquakes during the February Full Moon Window and hopefully ending in the coming hours which I will update on tomorrow on how that turns out for California!
