Winter Solstice could become a factor in any shaking pretty much all around the world on Wednesday! And Watch California Due To Lots of Snow Preceding Major Earthquakes Sometimes, Too!!!

As the Winter Solstice gets more near and of course has probably passed by the time a lot of you are reading this, I sort of like to watch just to see if ANY of the shaking that's been going on will get more serious. . . or not. That's also known as the "Summer Solstice" for folks in the Earth's Southern Hemisphere!!! Here's one that already shook although I have no idea if the approaching solstice which will be here at exactly 4:44am Central Time will have anything to do with the earthquakes that strike hours before or after. Here's one that struck a few hours before:

6.7 278km ENE of Dili, East Timor 2016-12-21 00:17

Not sure if that's 17 minutes after midnight Central Time or not. If it is, then that one struck about 4 hours before the solstice, if it's Universal Time then it struck more like about 10 hours before the solstice. So, the Winter Solstice/Summer Solstice could become a factor in any shaking pretty much all around the world on Wednesday! Be watching esepecially the early morning hours. And that's also when you should be able to balance an egg on one end, too!!!

Note that said I Might need to go and double check that felt report, too, but at press time not sure what felt report I wrote that note about and was out really late at radio station Christmas Party so maybe I'll look into it later!!! For now I do know for sure there's still a big alert for Peru, along with some other places we're watching for earthquakes including Tanzania, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, and Jakarta. Experience has taught me to watch California anytime there's a lot of snow. . . and there's starting to be a lot of snow right now so be watching California, too!!! EQ Guy
