4.3 Richters Earthquake Struck Switzerland With Huge Felt Report From All Over That Region Including Italy!!! Also 4.0 Ferndale, 3.4 Montana, and 3.3 Utah!!!

There was a 4.3 Switzerland Earthquake with a fairly big felt report including Italy, Austria, and Germany! See it now at Earthquake Central@ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2017/03/big-43-richters-earthquake-struck.html

Otherwise this Northern California Earthquake might have been the big story:

4.0 - 53km WSW of Ferndale, California
2017-03-06 19:19:19 UTC--Felt Report:

City.....State.Zip.USA.................................#.....Km

Mendocino, CA 95460 United States of America..1...148 km
Redding, CA 96001 United States of America....1...201 km

This one when combined with the Utah Earthquake could indicate something is coming. . . and we know there's a lot coming, but thought California was the place they should be getting the shaking! Remember anything can happen when those California fault lines start a moving, though!!!

3.4 - 12km WNW of Helena Valley Northwest, Montana
2017-03-07 02:26:55 UTC 46.797°N 112.189°W 10.7 km depth

Nearby Places

Butte, Montana 92.1 km (57.2 mi) NNE
Great Falls, Montana 103.2 km (64.1 mi) SW
Butte-Silver Bow, Montana 65.8 Miles NNE

This one looked big when it happened, but right now with a 4.0 Northern California I might not discuss it too much more and will look into the felt report but can't promise I'll get to it:

3.3 - 11km NW of Cedar City, Utah
2017-03-05 19:14:49 UTC

Nearby Places:
Halivah, Utah 5.4 km (3.4 mi) NNE
Cedar City, Utah 11.5 km (7.2 mi) NW

Washington, Utah 76.2 km (47.4 mi) NNE
Salt Lake City, Utah 218.1 Miles SSW

As of press time, still not sure what I'll do about this felt report, possibly just run through some of the prominent names of towns, not sure, yet. Note: I'll run it in my next EQ Blog.

I could be wrong, but it is looking like all of those Hawaii Earthquakes might now be coming to an end there. Just went to update this one and found only that 2.5 now at the top of the list and you can see it's about 10 hours behind that previous one, so I'll keep watching, but not sure what will happen next in Hawaii.

1.8 4km S of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-07 09:42
1.8 5km WSW of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-07 07:11
2.4 4km S of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-07 01:40
2.5 6km E of Pahala, Hawaii 2017-03-06 15:11
2.6 6km S of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-06 06:40
1.7 5km S of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-06 04:40
2.1 5km S of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-06 02:40
2.5 5km S of Volcano, Hawaii 2017-03-06 00:47
2.6 2km S of Pahala, Hawaii 2017-03-05 23:46
1.7 22km N of Pahala, Hawaii 2017-03-05 21:28

Updating on Hawaii, I've added a few on top of that 2.5 that I discuss, with a 2.4 that struck at 1:40am Central Time and two small 1.8 and 1.9 there. You decide if it will still be the end of the shaking at Hawaii, or what might happen next there. . . but it DOES look like the size and frequency is diminishing doesn't it. Still a lot of strange earthquakes in some more unusual places could indicate anything might happen!!! EQ Guy
