2.5 Richters Earthquake Shook the Granada Hills, California Area Around The North of San Fernando Valley!!! Felt in Northridge And All The Way North at Hayward, California, Too!!!

This one showed up on the list as of about 4:30am Pacific Time and very close to a time when a lot of big ones have been known to shake California!!! I'm always thinking that's the time when the coldest of the day starts to warm up right as the sun appears and the ground might EXPAND then. . . causing routine shaking! Here's one with a lot of towns around the San Fernando Valley on both top list of nearby places and felt report that follows, even Northridge makes that list, too:

I did see the name Truckee appearing several times throughout the day on Tuesday and thought it might be something major continuing. Until just now when I posted this following list and with exception to that 2.9 which was about an hour beyond the last one on yesterdays list, the rest of these are now all hours apart with that last one being late on Tuesday or 3pm and 5pm my time, with no more since:

0.8 21km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-27 18:07
0.2 21km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-27 15:33
0.4 21km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-27 13:44
0.5 10km NNW of Truckee, California 2017-06-27 13:16

2.9 20km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-27 11:17

We're actually WATCHING right around this exact area. . .and what a surprise to see SOUTHERN ILLINOIS show up already on the list of latest earthquakes yesterday!!! Not far from Springfield:

2.0 - 14km ESE of Johnston City, Illinois, 2017-06-27 16:01 UTC

Nearby Places:
24.9 Miles East of Carbondale, Illinois, Pop. 25,902
146 Miles SSE of Springfield, Illinois, Pop. 116,250

And a few more around this Harrison, Arkansas Epicenter although not sure if it's an indication there's about to be that big one, or if Arkansas is in line for it:

1.7 18km NNE of Harrison, Arkansas 2017-06-28 06:44
1.4 19km NNE of Harrison, Arkansas 2017-06-28 06:38
0.9 17km NE of Harrison, Arkansas 2017-06-27 15:44
2.0 18km NNE of Harrison, Arkansas 2017-06-27 15:43

Although we're not watching California much less the San Fernando Valley for any Major Shakers right at the moment. . . I suppose it's always possible something could shake around there. Let''s also be watching that shaky Southern Illinois Region because I might have an update on all that as a result of landfall of Cyclone Mora at Chittagong on May 30th!!! EQ Guy
