6.0 Richters Strikes North of New Zealand Where We're Watching For Big Earthquakes!!! Also a 5.4 Struck North of Japan, Too!!! Keep Watching Both Places!!!

I hadn't looked too much into the fact that right here today we're looking at two of those regions where we've been watching for earthquakes. . . and they both appear to be getting some shaking!!! First one here today is New Zealand, where this one shook just to the north of there around Raoul Island, and further along in this EQ Blog you'll find one that shook North of Japan in Russian Territory:

6.0 - 129km S of Raoul Island, New Zealand
2017-06-28 18:20:53 UTC 30.419°S 177.671°W 10.0 km depth

With regards to the question as to whether Truckee, California is still shaking, looks like one came in right at press time late Tuesday, but the following ones as I said in yesterdays EQ Blog came in at 9 and 11am my time and so again you're up-to-date. . . until more come in there and then I'll try to fix with an update at my earliest convenience:

2.5 20km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-28 11:24am CDT
1.0 16km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-28 09:34am CDT
0.2 21km NW of Truckee, California 2017-06-27 23:35 CDT

This one has the name Russia for a title, but remember we're watching that whole entire Japan area for Major Shaking with this coming Friday being Day 31 after that landfall of Cyclone Mora at Chittagong, Bangladesh:

5.4 - 101km E of Shikotan, Russia 2017-06-28 12:07 UTC

Nearby Places:
Shikotan, Russia 101.3 km (62.9 mi) E
Nemuro, Japan 198.8 km (123.5 mi) ENE
Sapporo, Japan 541.4 km (336.4 mi) East
Population: 1,883,027

Not sure if I posted in here in todays EQ Blog, but I've been studying the Tectonic Plate Movements following Cyclone Mora and came up with the fact that while I am specifically watching around Southern Illinois and New Madrid, did mention Oklahoma. . . I also had stated Santa Barbara Region could get some shaking as big as 5!!! Reason I'm mentioning it is I discovered this while going over a possible revision of my recent O.P. and thought I should now repeat 5 on the Richters Scale for Santa Barbara because it could have something to do with the shaking around California!!! Not all that much for California folks by any means, BUT they'd still wish to know something might be coming just the same! And as stated above, we're currently around Day 31 and so have a ways to go on that alert! EQ Guy
