Must Say Exact Moment Of July New Moon Probably a Factor In Fairly Accurately Guesing Thursdays "Volcanic Explosion" at Mt. Kilauea, Hawaii, There!!! 2.9 Very Near Disneyland!!! New Moon Window Continues All Through Friday!!!

Well, well, well. . . my prediction for Thursdays/Fridays "Volcanic Explosion" as you might recall was between 3pm Thursday and 10am Friday and I sort of thought it might even go beyond that, and possibly FAR beyond that. Just happened to be outback checking on possible future mowing duties when phone rang!!! You guessed it, that "Volcanic Explosion" which we really had no idea about HIT!!! Rang at 8:30pm Central Time on Thursday and apparently about 3 minutes after this one as you can see by comparing the time on the following USGS Report:

5.3 Volcanic Eruption - 5km SW of Volcano, Hawaii
2018-07-13 00:42:27 UTC 0.3 km depth

Disclaimer: "This earthquake was associated with a minor explosion and rockfall that occurred around 2:42PM Thursday, July 12, 2018 local time from Halema'uma'u crater. No emissions were observed above the crater."

These kind of surprised me insofar as all being what I like to call the Los Angeles Area, if you may Santa Barbara, too, and a new discussion on the Buena Park one follows:

1.1 5km WSW of Littlerock, CA 2018-07-12 18:30
1.7 3km SE of Loma Linda, CA 2018-07-12 18:14
2.9 2km S of Buena Park, CA 2018-07-12 15:24
1.1 11km NNE of Trabuco Canyon 2018-07-12 11:21
1.6 4km SE of Home Gardens, CA 2018-07-12 11:10
2.1 39km NNW of Barstow, CA 2018-07-12 10:50:28
1.0 8km SSW of Pearblossum, CA 2018-07-11 20:40
1.7 15km SSE of Santa Barbara, CA 2018-07-11 20:35
1.9 2km NW of La Habra, CA 2018-07-11 14:12

This isn't the end of the next story, too! First the USGS Report, then we'll take a look at the felt report and see what Zip Code "Disneyland" happens to be in, there! So far at press time no Disneyland Zip Codes showed up in this small earthquake down there in that general vacinity:

2.9 - 2km S of Buena Park, CA
2018-07-12 20:24:51 UTC 33.848°N 118.000°W 19.2 km depth

Nearby Places:
1.2 Miles South of Buena Park, CA
2.5 Miles East of La Palma, CA
3.1 Miles NE of Cypress, CA
3.1 Miles North of Stanton, CA
5.0 Miles WSW of Fullerton, CA

I'm going to put that illustration here that explains it all:
I've drawn in "Disneyland" and must say it's only about 4 miles from that epicenter, although certainly some sense of shaking in that region. . . one would have to be perhaps more familiar with all the Zip Codes from that region than I am to know. Although I did live and work in that part of L.A. for a while at one point, too!

Now here's that felt report from the Disneyland/Buena Park Earthquake on Thursday and probably the final one, now, too at 157:

2.9 - 2km S of Buena Park, CA
2018-07-12 20:24:51 UTC 33.848°N 118.000°W 19.2 km depth

I'm going to include this one today, not because there's really anything unusual about it, but would you look at the list of nearby places since there's obviously no felt reports from yesterdays New York Shaker, there:

1.4 - 6km SSE of Malone, New York
2018-07-12 02:20:07 UTC 12.0 km depth

Nearby Places:
1.2 Miles SSW of Whippleville, New York
27.2 Miles SE of Cornwall, Canada
31.8 Miles ESE of Massena, New York
32.2 Miles SSW of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Canada
91.6 Miles WNW of Montpelier, Vermont

On other occasions fire balls crossing the sky have been seen. . .prior to earthquakes! Most notable and recent Ireland, and Scotland with a hurricane that passed through, a fire ball seen in the sky following it, and small earthquakes at both those locations and I beleive Norway, there, too!!! Michigan had a somewhat similar deal where a fireball crossed the sky there and with the BOOM. . . registered an earthquake! Whether that's exactly what we're watching for at Illinois, now, not sure, but that Ireland/Scotland/Norway one was rather "Textbook" if there is such a thing for fireballs preceding earthquakes!!!

Exact moment of the July 2018 New Moon was at 9:50pm Central Time, Thursday, 7:50pm Pacific Time and maybe it has some effect especially at Mt. Kilauea as they always do! More probably to come with the New Moon Window running all through Friday, then and the next "Volcanic Explosion" at Mt. Kilauea now due around Midnight Friday, Friday, Friday!!! Good-Weekend, Now!!!
