August 23 will be like around Day 30 after the landfall of Hurricane Dolly. I consider Day 30 through Day 33, which will be this Tuesday, to be a few of the days with the highest correlation for the major earthquakes that routinely follow such a landfall. This earthquake should still strike at around 7 or 8 Richters or more and I still consider California and our West Coast to now be the area of most concern. Central America and especially the Guatemala, Panama, and Costa Rica Regions where they have been getting regular foreshocks are also in danger.
Tropical Storm Fay crossed Florida heading in a just east of North East direction and I checked this direction with my globe/straight-line tool to find Poland, Ukraine, Caspian Sea Region and iran right at the point where it hit’s the Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate actually heading the opposite direction of Hurricane Dollies potential seismic energy, so while Fay’s energy isn’t nearly as big by itself, this could also become the location for the two energies to combine, if so it will be exactly that spot. Alone, Tropical Storm Fay could only cause about a 6 Magnitude shaker, but combined this could be 8.1 Richters Magnitude.

Interesting correlation, hurricane strength and seismic activity. First I've read your materials. Do you have any previous blogs on this correlation?
Dude, Thank-You for asking! One of my own best correlations for strength was the one i refer to as "Katrina/Islamabad" since I had followed HUGE foreshocks all along the route following Katrinas landfall, and led directly to Islamabad. (HUGE Hurricane equals HUGE earthquake) Unfortunately nobody actually knows anybody in Islamabad so there was very little we could do! Maybe you can help alert people in the future!
